My Dilemma

Tell your friends and maybe they'll get the hint and throw a surprise party.
3. ok who speaks german? i wanna know what this freak is saying...
4. Looks like someone broke an embargo... ETA: No driving impressions so no embargo break...but then it is a pretty worthless review.
5. scary...
6. It is. Why worry about that kid's 9-3 and his parents' entertainment value from paying the bills? It's not your business; it doesn't affect you in the least. You can't hold it against the kid...what do you want him to say, "Mommy, please don't buy me a new car because you really should teach me a lesson instead?" HELL NAW!!Unless off course he's running around bragging about it cuz that's definitely rude then...

Crap!!

You wouldn't put an inexperienced and entirely unqualified 13 year old in the cockpit of a small aircraft as a "learning experience" now would you? Charger's dad has NO REASON to get pissed at him...only at himself. If he wanted to teach Charger about driving, he should have done it in some old beater and not his shiny new pickup. Doing so was just stupid.
8. Yea I just wikipediaed them and saw that too! REALLY $h!ty website though...they can't be making any money...
9. Heh, I remember Service Merchandise!! That's a way-back reference...my dad got his original NES there...
10. LOL @ Satty...mine was as a cashier/bagger at a grocery as well. I lasted 4 months, but was let go when the store closed. ETA: Satty, nice Violent Femmes callback in the sig.
11. Only if it wins...but it really doesn't deserve it. VE all the way.

Crap!!

Don't feel bad...it's his own damn fault for putting someone behind the wheel who shouldn't have been. You haven't had the proper training yet, and you shouldn't feel responsible for the damage. It's your father's poor judgement that resulted in this.
13. "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses (or my favorite, the Spice Girls cover) other than that...meh not really into Christmas music. I like Sandler's Chanukah Song though... ETA: How could I forget NKOTB's "Funky Funky Xmas"???? Another favorite...
14. Stick with the tried-and-true iPod. There's a reason it's the most popular mp3 player and has been since its introduction.
15. Honestly if GM wanted to, they could make the sliding door an option, couldn't they? Like the old T800s had the liftgate/double doors option.
16. Mmmmmmmmmm my pie was sooooooo good...i need more wine...
17. I'm going to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner. The rest of my family is leaving now, but my pumpkin pie (from scratch...no can of Libby's) needs another 20 minutes I think...so I'm here killing time.Tomorrow though, I'm making the traditional turkey, gravy, stuffing bit and possibly another pumpkin pie. My aunt no longer has her sense of smell due to old-time nasal sprays having cocaine in them (she has a lot of allergies, even more as a kid in the 1940s) and therefore her sense of taste is pretty blown too...hence my family's 2nd Thanksgiving...plus it is my favorite holiday and as far as I'm concerned should be celebrated as often as possible. This pie better finish cooking soon...I need to start drinking wine ASAP @ my aunt and uncle's house...
18. I actually saw a Compass on the road in LA the other day...and honestly in person it looks good. Would I own one? Hell no...but it looks 10,000,000x better in person.
19. Mention a single mass-market vehicle. None of those are. The SSR and Bel Air were retro-inspired anyway.
20. Those look amazing.
21. I don't give a $h! whether it's historically a "Pontiac" or "Chevrolet" dash design. I guarantee the general public does not either. Chevrolet has not used this design over the last several decades with any consistency so that it becomes irreversibly associated with the brand. >>This interior is very sporty, though--so much so that it would not seem out of place in a Pontiac with only a logo change.<< Between the arrows is the main point of my post. If GM can make a Chevrolet this un-boring and sporty, then think how nice and sporty future Pontiac interiors will be. Chevrolet will finally get to put SS badges on vehicles without tepid interiors...it's about time.
22. The poster at the bottom of page 5 hit the nail on the head: I would have no problem with this interior being the Pontiac G6 interior with the only change being an Arrowhead instead of a Bowtie. If the exterior of the Malibu is as sporty as the interior is, Chevrolet will have a huge hit.
23. Taillights look really cheap and Chinese.
24. I get jibberish when I click your thumbnail, TED.
25. No, I'm quite perceptive, Bill. I just disagree that maroon and charcoal with metallic trim of any finish constitutes warmth. I don't find the AURA interior to be warm at all with the charcoal dash and morrocan brown, either, and certainly not in black leather. Give me the neutral interior and the metallic trim, and I find it a little more inviting. I'm hoping that's the case here. ETA: I'm just not a fan of charcoal upper dashes.
