did a little, but powerful and new, set up here. just remember that phenom sounds like it overclocks to 3.5ghz very easily... some have gotten to 3.7-3.8 on air.

so... is this going to be snuck into Cadillacs? LOL Good competition for that engine segment... now when will GM drop either the 4.9 or the 5.3 and give the other some upgrades? a lower powered v8 for that tranny... prolly no more strength problems with it, right?

i used to play civ 4... I have an X800pro... i wanted to play on the biggest worlds.. it required more than the 128 mb vram my 9600AIW had. sadly that 3850 will be serious overkill, but ok..?

either a 9500 or 9600 Nvidia, or a 4670/4650 radeon.... unless you don't have PCI Express...?

i've only ran one red i think... back in HS i drove every morning through a string of lights...when the first one was green they all were green before the time you got to them at speed. one morning i was wrong but didn't realize till i was under it, luckily no one was turning into the lane i was in. I agree'd with your first post Satty.

as per the monitor, what kinda resolution do you play on? 1***x7** , 12**x10** higher than that? widescreen? that would help determine what kind of Video card you need.

AM3 boards/chips should be out this month.... RV740 - the next midrange ATI based on 40nm should be out in march.... promising near 4830 output (good for 16x10 res's), but prolly won't need a big power supply...? you ever state what kinda budget/ performance you have/want?
