  1. its basically a brand new car. ive seen 2010's with more miles than this. I have a 06 Pontiac G6 that will soon hit 95,000 miles.
  2. geez i really wanted one.. hahaha IT LOOKS LIKE A 1987 JEEP COMANCHEE. LOL
  3. I highly doubt this car would be assembled in austrailia. It will be built in an existing plant in the USA, Canada or Mexico. and I wouldnt doubt that production of the Caprice PPV will be shifted to the same assembly plant.
  4. hmm, it could be a production version of the TRU 140 concept car. or they could be bringing back the Monte Carlo based on the Epsilion, or they might be bringing back the Pontiac G8 badged as a Chevy. probably one of the three.
  5. I guarantee they would have sold more than 24,000 pontiac's or saturn's. when they made Grand am's they used to be in the top 15 in sales almost every month. when was the last time a Buick was in the top 15 in sales??
  6. this is why they would have been better off keeping Pontiac or Saturn instead.
  7. they need to partner with another automaker, like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan.. etc... then offer to lease a shuttered GM or Ford assembly plant.. Fords plant in wixom Mich, there is a closed GM plant in Moriane Ohio,
  8. Make this a GMC in the USA. get rid of the Acadia and give it to Cadillac. problem solved..
  9. I think they are realizing it was a mistake to build the Caprice police car in Australia. look for production of the Caprice to be shifted to a plant in the USA, Canada or Mexico within the next two years. the Caprice could be built in Oshawa Ontario alongsize the Camaro. or a possiblity of re opening the plant in Janesville wisconsin, or keeping the plant in shreveport open.
  10. I can see alot of would be Cadillac buyers opting for a Lacrosse. The CTS might just be too small for them.
  11. Cadillac isnt in all that good of shape right now. a rebadged Chevy Equinox, rebadged Chevy Tahoe in which the only diffrence is the grille and seats. and the CTS.
  12. would be nice if they came up with a two door Blazer from this model.
  13. looks tons better than the old model. are they planning on selling it the USA?
  14. Maybe GM should consider producing a diesel version of the upcoming Sonic sub compact. Use the same engine as the Cruze Diesel. The sonic is a few hunded pounds lighter than the Cruze, MPG numbers could be in the high 50's or even low 60's. thoughts???
  15. maybe they should make a Sonic with this diesel engine.. the Sonic is a few hundred pounds lighter... we could be close to 60 mpg if they would make a diesel Sonic.. 06 Pontiac G6 GT 07 Chrysler pacifica 10 Camaro LS
  16. GM needs more two door cars period. they currently only sell 3 two door cars in north america, Camaro, Corvette and CTS. wonder if it will be assembled at the same assembly plant as the Volt?
  17. I have seen three Volts here in Florida, a silver one, dark red one and a white one. the price is just too high for them. you can get a Cruze Eco for half the price. and its about the same size car. no matter how long you would keep that Cruze Eco YOU WOULD NEVER SPEND OVER 20 GRAND ON GASOLINE.
  18. this is a rebaged Saturn Vue. Like the Vue was it will be assembled in Ramos Arizpe Mexico. I actually seen one of these in Grand Cayman in February and it didnt look that bad.
  19. wow im glad they changed the design. that thing is hidious looking. I bet the same people who designed this truck also brought us the Pontiac Aztec!! I heard that there was also to be a new cavalier for 2002 but it was hidous looking too so they scrapped it and waited a few more years before they could design the cobalt.
  20. this was one of the reasons the sonic is now made in the USA, because they needed the capacity in Korea to make this car. this could possibly be the cheapest new car in the USA. If they can bring them to market for around 10 grand if might be a decent seller. I wonder what the fuel economy would be on this? would it be close to 50 mpg? I seen a spark when I was on vacation in the carribbean in February and wow its really small.
  21. something is going to happen at Spring Hill soon. Because if you look at GM's Career site they are hiring for paint shop engineers. and additional production supervisors. I heard a rumor that Caprice production could be shifted to North America..
  22. i haven't been in or drove Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Lawrence but at least i think its alright to speculate about preferences based on photos............ Never heard of them...porn stars or reality TV stars or something? Anyway, so if this new Malibu is an MY 2013 and it's only April 2011, it sounds like the 2012 MY is going to be shortened for the Malibu? production of the 2013 Malibu begins in January 2012 in detroit hamtramck. meanwhile the current model will continue to be produced for a few months after that in Kansas City, so they two models will be built at the same time for a few months. once detroit gets up to full speed the kansas city plant will begin producing the 2013 model.
  23. I will be looking to replace my Pontiac G6 in another year or two and I will more than likely get one of these two. 06 pontiac G6 GT 10 Camaro LS 07 Pacifica
  24. The Impala will no longer be built there after 2013. So this Cadillac will take over the capacity.
