If its true, great, but until there is some kind of verification, meh.

DCX's theory, both in general but especially with Jeep it seems, its to throw a bunch of product out there, and see what catches on. Sure there are some gems, but they are getting increasingly hard to find among the piles of $h!. Which, btw, is also obscuring Jeep's brand image as an offroad capable vehicle. personally, there is a lot of product that I think is good that I would seriously consider, the Nitro, Dakota, LX's for instance

hmm, wonder if this could hurt them in the end. get even more people on the road, increasing demand for gas, prices go up, people can't afford such nice cars because of the extra money they spend on gas, so they start buying cheaper cars.

maybe its just me, but being the number one car maker isn't that big of a deal in my eyes. I'd rather see GM turning a good profit and have a good rep. That being said, if Toyota keeps recalling cars like they are, and GM can keep building their quality, combined with GM keeping up the sales growth in the middle east and Asia, they will be back at number 1 in a few years.

like the d-seg is for all intents and purposes a scaled up c-seg, this chassis could be a scaled up version of d-seg.

unless things have changed since I heard that the pacifica specific chassis was canceled, the truck itself was just on hold. It quite possible the d-seg crossover they mentioned is the next gen Pacifica.

for a month, you should be fine. from experience of winterizing my motorcycle for a couple of months each year -unhook battery and leave on battery tender or trickle charger plugged into timer -put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and run it through the fuel system -put wood under tires to insulate them from the cold concrete -change the oil & filter so acids in oil don't damage engine components

wasn't it lutz who spearheaded the arts & science direction of cadillac and the creation of Solstice? Those are to pretty defining initiatives that has helped in GM's turnaround aren't they?
