  1. You are exactly right... The Camaro was a concept in both form and function while the Challenger is/was much farther along in the development...
  2. Go check one out at the autoshow (like you said I know...) because sitting in it and seeing all the features might shock you... The 300 Hp SRT4 is pretty insane as well... I don't think it is my cup of tea but I do believe that it has a bang for the buck that a LOT of HS/College student's parents will like...
  3. ""Man I can't believe how much the Denali is... man for my money I would get the GTO to be faster and save my money..."" - Sarcasm off Comparing the GTO to the Charger SRT-8 is a joke..
  4. Hell of a potential for Dodge on this one... both in Europe and the US Nothing else out there in that range has the 'in your face' styling that this does - pull the Hornet next to an Aveo or Xb and I know which one I would take...
  5. Ditto - welcome to last month
  6. This one is quite interesting in the sheer number of directions that this vehicle points... Mini-van styling? Pacifica Hemi? Dakota styling? Storage galore? Let alone the fact that the only thing I can describe the powertrain is possible "toronado-esque"
  7. Just so I can rest at night... Dodge claimed 225 Hp for 2003 (Smaller injectors) and 230 Hp for 2004-2005 at the crank I have seen in person completely stock cars dyno anywhere from 220-240 Hp at the wheels... Dodge was definately sandbagging on the ratings...
  8. "Its your money - demand better" -- people obviously took that too literally... and didn't buy any Olds...
  9. realistic comparison? They are using Vista roof in describing glass panels on the roof of a tall wagon (or small SUV) Not that it made me angry - just wondered what everyone else thought...
  10. 139 fl-lbs of torque in that new Civic Si... Geez my '90 Trofeo had 210 ft-lbs.... my SRT-4 laughs at every Civic Si that I pass...

    Soon On C&G

uhhh ok - feel free to let us know
  12. If I knew how to paste a picture I would but here is the link to a possible Dodge Polo (all speculation and photochopping of course!) Source: Srtforums.com http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showpost.p...0&postcount=325
  13. Does it bother anyone else that Ford is using 'Vista Roof' (Trademarked) on thier new edge concept? http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/01/11/207249.html When I think Vista Roof it is on a VistaCruiser!
  14. Wow - just wow dudeAre you mad that Tahoe and Yukon share parts too? Damn the freeloading GMC anyway...
  15. Damn Cheeseheads.... geez
  16. Marc I can understand that completely - Heck I post here because these guys actually know about some of the classic Olds' that I have been around all my life.. (That and I am kind of a car nut in general! ) Try asking most 'car guys' if they know what a Jetfire is... Or what about a Curved Dash... heck most don't even know about Starfires...
  17. The compass is meant more the "Urban Trail" than Trail-Rated The Patriot should be more of a traditional Jeep in the sense of being Trail-Rated... but only time will tell for sure..
  18. A REAL highway milage estimate cannot be at 54 MPH (as told in other articles) - That is JUST REDICULOUS! - It should atleast be 65 If you go 54MPH on the highways around Chicago I will be that guy behind you blinking my lights - or you will have already been rearended and I will be ticked off that I am sitting in a traffic jam because of you
  19. Great Find!! Thanks!!
  20. Wow - amazing deduction based on the fact that they are both 5 door suv thingies... I think the Uplander looks like a Caravan... becasue they are both minivans... I think the Solstice looks like a Miata... because they are both small sports cars... Amazing - what an incitful comment..
  21. Motor Trend + Chrslyer Voyager = FUNNY! :P
  22. "I thought Saturn was supposed to be entry level with no haggle pricing and friendly dealers" Now I realize what GM is trying to do with Saturn which is move it more upscale and be the import fighter that Olds wasn't but I think John Q Public still has my quote in mind when thinking about Saturn EDIT - I do like the car I am just unsure of the direction that things are heading
  23. Might just be me but that seems expensive for a Saturn
  24. The potential of having 5 different cars coming down the same assembly line outwieghs the modest increase in link of 6 inches in my mind - Being able to produce such varied cars of the same line makes them that much more impressive. This isn't the difference between a Tahoo and a Yukon this is the difference between a Challenger (2dr), a 300/Charger (4dr), a Magnum (4dr wagon) and an Imperial (Stretched 4dr) If GM has an assembly that is that varied I sure don't know about it
  25. I'm still trying to figure out how people can reect the design of a car from a spy shot as padded and covered as the ones we have seen...
