  1. I fixed that one for you Camry doesn't ever qualify for a Sports Edition as far as I am concernted...
  2. I would have to agree... which is weird coming for Peugeot...
  3. Welcome to 3 months ago... http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=8928 EDIT - Added link
  4. For those that might be interested there are a bunch of pictures here: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread...ghlight=Caliber
  5. And it changed from that drawing to Concept how? That drawing looks dead on as to what the concept was
  6. Must be something Jay Leno owns... so it could be just about anything
  7. I was there!! (Of course I was like 1 year old but whatever - Plus I have seen the car a couple of times since)Where did that mysterious California Trofeo go?
  8. I recognize that CRT... Who has more pictures of the California Trofeo from the NY Auto Show??? I am waiting!
  9. I think that was a very fair review - I don't particularly like the Compass but then again I am NOT the target audience... Then again the traditional Jeep buyer is NOT the target audience either...
  10. WHOA! Maybe I haven't been paying attention but where did that one come from... I am search for more info NOW!
  11. Voice system I am clueless on but the digital dash was in the '91 my brother is still driving (the dash sucks - my $.02 of course)
  12. I would never try to say I like Oprah or think she is the best - but she IS the segment leader which is what we were discussing... I hate Corrolas and Camrys but I know they are segment leaders too...
  13. While there will be some kind of crossover on the same chassis - the Avenger is supposed to be a true sean (aka mini Charger)

    SRT and V

Can I have both but trade the STS-V for the XLR-V?? (Hey it is worth a try!)
  15. Add in the fact that they have the Patriot coming out behind it to please the more manly Jeep buyers and you pretty much hit the nail on the head... I saw some pictures of the Compass in white (loaded out with Chrome wheels and everything else too) and it actually didn't look THAT bad... Then again I don't think I am the target audience - I think I will like the Patriot more...
  16. While I respect your opinoin I don't think you can go by feelings (ie you feel that one car is better than another) I believe you have to go by sales because it all boils down to it being part of the Auto BUSINESS where the almighty $$$ rules...
  17. Damn I wish I could have been there - I have been to a nationals in a couple of years now... (1998 in Springfield, IL my last one?) I am glad to see some Toro's like that managed to survive - although could be call that a Vista roof?
  18. YUP! Admittedly I think the Ram SRT-10 is only a niche truck - oh wait that is what they wanted it to be... After getting to drive one on an autocross I can appreciate how much fun a huge truck can actually be..
  19. Sadly for manly Jeep enthusiasts I think this will sell well... to some of the same people that drive Libertys...
  20. So the segment leader is who you like? Not who is selling the most? Take a look at this article: (January 2005) http://www.thecarconnection.com/Industry/D...S192.A8022.html "2004 Minivan Sales Numbers: Chrysler/Dodge 384,832 Toyota Sienna 159,119 Honda Odyssey 154,238" Ok - that one was too old - how about a newer one? (February 2006)http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11256369/from/RSS "In 2005, the Dodge Caravan had a 20.4 percent U.S. market share and the Chrysler Town & Country 16.3 percent, according to Power Information Network, a J.D. Power and Associates division. The Honda Odyssey held 15.7 percent of U.S. minivan sales, the Toyota Sienna about 14.5 percent and the Nissan Quest about 3.6 percent, according to PIN." Sounds to me DCX=36.7% Market Share while Honda=15.7% and Toyota=14.5% So now I ask my question again... So what have YOU been smoking?
  21. Who is THE segment leader? Not the Toyota... I agree with what you are saying about not including the Sienna but it is also quite unfair to include the Caravan being how old the design is at this point (also with a new one in the wings)
  22. Uhmm not to nit pick but the article is two days old already...
  23. I had the same problem but I forgave them for this as soon as I got to play with that gas pedal
  24. Very nice find Fly.... Boy if someone had one of the drawings/sketches/prints shown in the picture fromt he Aurora page I would sure be interested... Heck I would be interested in the Intrigue or the Alero too!
  25. I can't think of the one but I thought there was a coupe similar to the Olds F-88.... maybe that helps someone else?
