  1. I'll just hang out in this thread to see the pics
  2. My SRT-4 donkey was the best bang for the buck in performance when I bought it... had great power 230 Hp... Had good milage 30 MPG on the HWY and never went back to the dealer ONCE... I liked that donkey... it was good...

    ...

Hence it is a powertrain mule...
  4. 'Tuning' won't be going away any time soon - I would just look for 'Tuners' to move towards cars that actually GO...
  5. Is the rear window fixed even though it is a hardtop?? ala '79-'85 Toronado?
  6. Ok - now the squares are too small... but I guess C5 anyway
  7. You really can't go anywhere around Chicago without seeing one or two (if you are paying attention that is...)
  8. I believe the dropping of the coupes was partially due to sales and partially due to the burnt bridge between DCX & MMC....Similarly the Sebring has already shown spy shots of the 'vert but a coupe is a big ???
  9. Like most of the new Dodge's they seem to look better the darker the color is... so Dark Blue and Black seem to be the best colors...
  10. Sorry I couldn't help but post up C&D's quote from thier 'Cheap Speed' comparo: "Here we go again. That same old comparo conundrum. Our underdog victor offers the worst 0-to-60 time (6.4 seconds), the slowest quarter-mile time (14.9 seconds), the skimpiest back seat, and the most lackluster autocross lap." For those that want to read more... http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?se...article_id=9845 And yes I did drive all the cars in that comparo before I purchased my car (with the exception of the SS but that was really hard to find at the time) and I don't regret my purchase at all! Maybe it was the stuck up dealer, the over-inflated pricing, the ho-hum styling or maybe it was just the lackluster performance but I was completely underwhelmed when I shopped the RSX... Hell I would have rather bought the ION Redline for 7-8K less at the time...
  11. Yeah and a WRX is just an Imprezza..a EVO is only a Lancer... The GTI is only a Golf/Rabbit... Give me a break... Yeah when you make really stupid comments like that people are going to respond...
  12. Don't waste your time - There are already people out there TRYING to sell them for a profit with like 100 miles... Much better to enjoy the car :ohyeah: cruising down the road
  13. Its up on Dodge's website - of course it is all pre-release so nothing is set in stone.. My R/T 4x2 was loaded up pretty good for around 27K...
  14. The 230 Hp SRT-4 makes the RSX look like Maple Syrup.... Apparently there wasn't enough people that thought the wonderful Acura interiors were worth more than the premium prices and lackluster performance... I for one won't be sad to see it go...
  15. I will have to see what is left after a recent swap meet - maybe take a picture or two and take offers
  16. The Avenger/Stratus isn't expected to debut until next year... maybe NAIAS 2007?
  17. Here's an idea... can Saturn and bring Opel as is to the US... that way you can save the $5 that you lose changing the badges... Saturn is not the plastic cheap cars that it used to be so you might as well ditch the name - allow all of the dealers to switch to Opel on a good deal and retain good practices such as the no haggle pricing (which is a joke) and the good customer service that Saturn does have going for it... If you are going to sell a line of Opels in the in US why not just call them Opels and go with it?
  18. I'll admit to having the Maisto O4 and Profile.. (or two or three each )
  19. Like set the overdrive to kick in at 54 MPH right where the highway milage is tested at?I still will take the 3800 (I had series I) with the 4 speed overdrive transmission out of my '90 Toro over any new V6 out there at 75 MPH
  20. BINGO! - Damn you are bringing back memories as that is the touchscreen and even the colors of my '90 Toro - That was a dream to have everything was very easy to use and understand with two exceptions: 1. The seperated CD player that died on me twice (cost 250 to repair the first time - the second time I bought and aftermarket CD deck to replace it) 2. There was no way to tell it to bring in cold air without using the A/C (that was common on any full size Olds at that time though) Otherwise the VIC or Vehicle Information Center was a blast to have and use - also you could program that opening screen to say what you please such as: "Built especially for Pimpin Hoes"
  21. Apparently Infiniti dealers don't think the G35 Coupe is a sports car?
  22. Recon sounds like a good Jeep name... and Profile and Expression are TERRIBLE names... But I do see where you are going with your post - I agree completely that there WAS a case AT SOME POINT for keeping Olds and dropping Saturn... I think the end result was based purely on Saturn being new and Olds being.. well... Old
  23. Kinda like my '90 Toro had too... :AH-HA_wink:
  24. Doesn't it look like it has put on some extra weight/size?? I am tired of every redesign from Nissan getting bigger... pretty soon the Maxima is going to be the size of a '70 Olds 98....
