This, by the way, is by no means new. I know exactly one person who tried it, and this was in the 80s. DMT is a pretty simple plant alkaloid (an herbal extract if you will) that's been around since whenever those plants evolved to produce this chemical. I would safely pin it at at least one million years ago. DMT (N,N-dimethyltryptamine) is actually found in trace amounts in psychedelic mushrooms (along with its chemically substituted counterpart, 4-phosphoryloxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine, otherwise known as psilocybin). However, more interestingly, DMT is an endogenous chemical in the human brain! Some people believe it is what endows us with our souls, the ability to dream, and that it's what facilitates our passages from the spirit world during birth, and back to it during death (there are poorly-researched articles stating that "DMT levels are higher" during these phases of life). Not necessarily the most scientifically thorough explanation for things, but interesting and on-topic none the less!

DMT is one of the oldest psychedelics in use, shamans (or their analogs) all over the world have been using it to pay a visit to God. It is something that is most certainly not to be taken lightly! While I am not aware of its use causing any harm to anybody physically, mentally it may be a great, great deal for anyone to take in, especially at some of the ages (and levels of psychedelic experience) of the people involved here. Marvel at it, read all about it (and get the story straight on everything else psychedelic), but please do not take it unless you've ascended that psychedelic stairway! Besides, I bet most of you wouldn't even know where to get it. I sure don't!

It is not the primary job of a car review to present all of the facts, but it is important that the facts presented are correct (this is where proofreading/fact checking come in handy). The ideal car review is unbiased, and unfortunately you're starting off on the wrong foot in this case. In my opinion, you should not attempt to pass this off as an unbiased review. This should really be an article on why you chose your G6 over the competition. This allows you to bring in more of a personal element and relate your own personal tastes and habits with what you find neat or useful about the car. I really don't see very many well-written articles of this variety, so it may be a healthy change of pace! Heck, you might even win a few people over! (I assume this is one of your goals in writing this article.)

stock turbo, huh?

I have a very strange dog which may or may not be part belgian shepherd. He attempts conversation frequently.

House is very much alive, as a matter of fact. The tracks you mentioned are not techno, but variations of house. (Call on Me is occasionally described as "disco house", although there are many tracks out there that qualify even more so.) I have a heavy-ass bag and a big crate full of proof that dance music is still thriving. Probably in excess of 160 records, plus a CD book full of tunes and an increasingly busy schedule! I emplore you all as a good look at what house music is (roughly) today, to check out the following mix compilations: bad boy bill - behind the decks (excellent mixing work here) - big room/disco/chicago-ish house ben watt - lazy dog 2 - deep house deep dish - yoshiesque 2 - progressive house Going by the track listing, ministry of sound's "clubber's guide 2006" seems to be a pretty decent mix with some of the newer hits on it.

something along the lines of "Vice President Dick Cheney shot his friend, a 78 year old Texas man, in what could only be described as... his face."

yeah, urbandictionary is pretty funny at times, you can come up with some great gross-out material. "what's a chocolate uppercut you ask? you really want to know? okay..." however, i'm going to be an uncool nerd and rave about http://www.etymonline.com/ every english speaker should use that on a daily or at least weekly basis. and urbandictionary, too.

It's brilliant! It and Requiem for a Dream are absolutely required viewing. Any DVD player which has not played these movies has had a meaningless existence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurgel the early models were just rebodied VWs.

hahaha, thanks. actually, this is brookshire, on highway 90, facing Houston. that's not a sunrise, that's our beautiful urban light pollution.

something's obviously way wrong with these pictures. did they photoshop the final concept to demonstrate the other designs? because, it looks terrible. the wheels are clearly quickly hacked into the picture, and a lot of the surface detail seems to indicate being heavily manipulated, it's not as reflective as it should be.

tell him it's not for him to worry about. offer him highlights magazine if he gets too rowdy.

no day-job, working as a DJ, not much to do during the days anyway!

I can't pick both? a V8 is a powerful engine, and it's not as though its only purpose is for towing. Camaros are fast cars, and Magnums are fairly quick big cars. I'm the kinda guy where, if I'm shopping for some type of car, performance is always a major factor.
-
that's... basically wrong. not all engines are tuned to take advantage of higher octane. if yours is not, you are wasting money and wearing out your engine prematurely. when your engine is not high compression enough, and/or does not properly compensate mixture and timing, your fuel economy and power output will DROP when you use a fuel with a higher octane than necessary. RTFM, it's gospel!

my car is not turbo and requires premium. (and turbo cars usually have the lowest compression ratios of them all!)

we had the same thing in texas. fortunately, not anymore. as I understand it, cops busting into the wrong room in a veritable orgasm of coitus interruptus were surprised enough to arrest the obviously kind folks who were just violently going about each other's business.

Chief was great. I really appreciated how he was able to be one of the mature voices of reason among us hot-headed youngins and still get bogged down in some of the sillyness and have fun. He was confident, a bright guy, and he reminded me that my teachers from high school were probably people too. Guess it's time to rest now, dude.

from the factory? I'm not sure, the 5th gen has the most promising proportions, if they pan out. otherwise, the third generation. there have been a number of mouthwatering mildly-modified 2nd gens in magazines, moreso in my opinion than any other gen, but from the factory they really didn't do much for me.

so is california going to crawl over the US to get to the atlantic, or just teleport there?

I've only noticed being hungrier during/after caffeine consumption than when it's not present at all. But, don't you have to do something with your ECA stack to help prevent tolerance from rendering it useless? Caffeine is physically addictive, and you definitely build a tolerance to its effects...
