  1. I am hearing more and more the late teens and 20 something crowd want AWD to get to the mountains to play and Great gas milage to get to and from work. I see some that want the cool speed cars, but more and more want an all around vehicle to haul their friends and live an active life style. At least here in Seattle.
  2. Personally We need to demand that the government take away the speculation that Ex Prez Bush allowed. Speculation in oil and gas is hurting not helping this country. Only a few really get ahead on this. Speculation is bad for this country and the world. We do not need to have the rich few use the stock market as their own personal gambling casino.
  3. Over all regardless if you are a demobot or RepubliRat, The TARP dollars had to be done for the well being of this country. Anyone who wants to blame Bush or Obama, need to wake up to the fact that our current Depression would have been much worse if we did not bail out the financial industry and the auto industry. The time now is to cut out the waste and stop being a world police and focus on rebuilding our country as we pay off our Debt.
  4. Leave the luxury to RWD and anything FWD to Chevy.
  5. Oil Companies refine and ship more gas out of the country, they are clearly do this for their own profits and the free market will support this, but at a brutal cost to the majority of americans.
  6. I believe it is correct that the Suicide doors are history. The new requirements for Roll Over make keeping them on SUV's or Trucks with High Center of Gravity a hard thing to do. Safety will trump people preference for the wide open suicide doors. I liked them, but I understand the Safety Police wanting better roll over protection.
  7. So who got a hairless kiss? Come on speak up I know someone got one.
  8. WOW, those aer some pretty interesting styling exercises. I see a happy face in the rear and a menacing face in the front. Leaves me with a shark like feeling, not bad but will wait to see the real thing.
  9. I wonder what it would take to setup and import these babis here just like the company in california did with the R34 and R35 Skylines? I suspect you could clearly build a loyal following and make sure the diesel setup can handle BioDiesel and then you would have a hard core group that would love ya.
  10. Nice picture of the guys, but the auto is just blaw.
  11. My wife watched this on the news this morning at 5am PST with me and the first thing out of her mouth was, That is one of the ugliest Jelly Bean auto's ever. Do they have no one that understands style? I do like the rear doors though, but would pass on the rest. Very interesting observation of the wife who usually could care less about the auto's. I do agree that the style leaves much to be desireed.
  12. Somebody forgot that style is a requirement, this is lacking in that and much more. Ford Transit wins over this.
  13. I agree with Moltar, there are so few if any of the outlook there to be seen that this is NOT a rebadge issue. So I think GMC will have a winner on their hands.
  14. For a beginner driver, not a bad ride to purchase, but otherwise, I would pass. Clearly based on the photo, it is an elderly driver that is past driving.
  15. My friend has last years M3 fully loaded and it is nice and has amazing power, but comfort between the M3 and the CTS-V, I take the V plus there is more room inside for a big guy like me. Plus I like supporting amarica auto companies.
  16. Super Size
  17. Why do I get this feeling that the GOP is doing ths to continue to help reward the few rich enough to have an interest in pure gas only. Sadly, this will continue to drive this country to depend on oil from outside when we could easily lead by example and move to 100% BioFuels. We have one of the most productive farming sectors in the world that could easily grow what is needed to create 100% BioFuel. We need to take what has been proven to work in Brazil and expand it fast here.
  18. Does Infiniti really need a more expensive super car? Cadillac XLR did not survive, Lexus I do not see surviving past a couple years. Reality is that there is only so much money being spent on crazy hi end sport cars. I would think the money could be better spent on their existing auto's giving them more interior room to fit everyone instead of just the 5'8" tall crowd.
  19. That's how it's been since 1997....GM, like Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, etc is primarily a FWD appliance maker...any RWD models are just occasional low volume desserts... +1
  20. I wonder how the 1.4l turbo compares to the 2.0 L diesel for horsepower and torque.
  21. Avery amazing vehicle that truly did not live up to the expectations of the rich and famous. Too many options out there with rich people more than happy with cars that cost much less. Style was very blaw and did not have the distinct grab of a royles royce or Bentley.
  22. It seems that Roger might be right. GM dusted off the Outlook and made it into a new Acadia. Here's the rear-quarter view of the Outlook: Here's the rear-quarter view of the Acadia, pre-2013: Here's the rear-quarter view of the 2013 Acadia: Aside from the obvious wrap-around rear glass, the rear quarter panels, liftgate, and shape of the taillights are all pretty much the same as what you got on the Saturn. WOW, thanks for the comparison pictures, it does have the saturn, but with better tail lights and a much better nose. Still Love the new Acadia even if it is a dust off of old parts.
