  1. One Must question the way some mags seem to stick to a brand or two over and over no matter what the rest of the world seems to be saying.
  2. Thank you,
  3. We'll that is interesting, so Opel / Vauxhall will be sold to PSA and stay an ICE focused business and clearly the CEO sees EV as the future. PSA seems to want to pick up the ICE business, but I have to question the desire to ignore the EV future. I also now wonder if GM will be able to dump Opel / Vauxhall. The unions and the stupid laws of Europe could make this a business to just shut down and walk away from.
  4. Busy weekend, decisions, decisions, decisions. My wife and I have decided that playing on the water and in the sun is no longer an option for me. Friday, I was informed my skin cancer is back and on my back, so July 17th I go in for more surgery. With that said, I have unpacked from the winter slumber, cleaned and prepped our Yamaha Waverunners for selling to a new home. They are in excellent condition, matched pair. Listed on Boattrader: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2003-yamaha-fx140-103079495 Hopefully they will find someone soon who is as much into playing as our family was.
  5. In a Pigs eye, as long as you are under 5'8" tall, want bland boring and simply overpriced yawn, then Honda is for you.
  6. Happy Anniversary! 29 years is a big deal in today's society.
  7. Truth, they have created ZERO faith in those that like their products due to the ignorance of FCA Leadership.
  8. Just got an email this morning from GM Performance. T56 Super Magnum Performance 6 Speed Manual Transmission. Designed to handle all of GM Performances most powerful crate motors such as the beast LSX454R. Showing off in the Following Chevelle Slammer to be on display this year around the country. Chevrolet Performance’s fleet will be led this year by their Chevelle “Slammer” that was unveiled at last year’s SEMA show. One word that jumps out at us when looking at this car is simply, clean. The black exterior matched with the red interior just works. Under the hood sits the a Chevrolet Performance LT376/535 crate engine(link is external). This engine was designed for use in race vehicles and builds on the LT family’s technologies and takes them to the next level, leveraging CNC-ported heads and the high-lift LT1 Hot Cam bringing 535 naturally aspirated horsepower. Oh, and this engine loves to rev as well, easily towards 6,800 rpm. If you’re on tour and are a fan of Chevelles, or just classic Chevys in general, you’ll want to swing by the Chevrolet Performance booth to peek at one well executed build ready for the “long haul.” T56 6 speed Manual Transmission designed to handle 700 lb-ft of torque. 2017 HOT ROD Power Tour Preview and Dates
  9. GM should do this with a Wrangler like product under the GMC label. It totally makes sense.
  10. Yes depending on the battery version you have in your Tesla S from 60 to 100 your looking at about 6000-10,000 cost of battery replacement according to the local Tesla store here.
  11. Have to cut a hole in the hard top for me to fit in! It's OK, I just wear my sunglasses and get a little extra protein!
  12. OK the Rolls is growing on me, but I have to totally agree with you that the BUICK is way better! BUICK Rivera ROCKS!
  13. Totally agree that the marketing fluff sucks big time and other than smaller engines, nothing really revolutionary. As you stated, so many NO NO and NO about this car! This is reverse evolutionary tactics.
  14. Weird, these have got to be some of the worst trucks around and I just cannot see why anyone would spend the crazy increase in money to import it, convert it and then buy. PASS!
  15. But what did you think of the MB tone? Sucky right?
  16. Rolls Royce Swept tail????? 10 million dollar auto?? Hate to say it, but it looks weird!
  17. Nice but have to say there is a bit of Tiny sound in the exhaust that I am not a fan of. This shows how nice the Camaro and Challenger is and the 3rd auto is an MB and talk about sucky exhaust sound.
  18. H'mmmmm Wonder if your thoughts on the Benz interiors might not be what they really want since according to some here , automation will replace any need of us having to actually drive. Robotic intuitive?
  19. Agree that Benz SUV/CUVs have ZERO emotional appeal also. Even the AMG versions of them are just BLAH! Escalade all the way especially for me as the Benz has sucky interior of tight space that makes it hard for a big guy like me to enjoy a road trip.
  20. I so could say non PC things that would be very Sarcastic and funny and yet I would then be blasted. So I will just crack up laughing at your awesome comments! I see the points you're making but just as SMK is a die hard MB fan and they love their 20yr overpriced Dinosaur of a G Wagon, I believe there are hard core BMW fans that want an equal (X7) product to compete against MB and Cadillac in a high end SUV. Overall, it will be interesting to see how it competes and how the Magazines rate the X7 to the G Wagon to the Escalade. Especially if Cadillac releases a V-Sport edition or V edition Escalade.
  21. I do agree, I think this engine is still under powered when you compare to competitive alternatives. Yes they have a higher trim, but I think Honda is still out of sync with the rest of the market. Yet for die hard Honda fans, this will still be a popular car for them.
  22. Actually the more I think about this the more it is clearly not overkill especially when it comes to Autocross. If all auto's are equipped the same, we truly get down to who is the better driver and reaction speeds. Maybe the focus should be on driving skill and not the engine performance.
  23. As far as we know, but with the craziness of BMW and the German Unions, who knows what stupid things they will do next.
