  1. This what happens when you buy a Toyota Truck. I want to see this on CNN, if it were a domestic it would be trust me. Chevy should make fun of Toyota for this and use it in an ad!
  2. Sounds like you want 'er. I would never ever put GXP wheels on it no way. I might tint the windows and but a K&N Intake in it and a Corsa exhuast and Intense chip and a brake upgrade but that is it. It will never be for sale as it will go on to my son who found the car on autotrader for me. Should I ever sell I would post it here, but don't count on it, trust me! If I ever find a deal on a GXP years down the road I might get one, but I repeat I am not putting GXP wheels on an SLE. That is wrong on such a rare car and the only year for this special styled SLE. Now dropping a N* in it would be more likely and that ain't happening! Thanks for the kind words.
  3. Blu thanx for the kind words... Now if it were a GXP that would be even better!
  4. The name of the paint color is Cranberry Red Metallic otherwise known as Boredux Red on Buicks and other vehicles. The paint code 49U and the interior is cloth and is code 56.
  5. I know you have liked the outside not so much the inside. Anyways its feels like fall in Iowa for the first time since a cold spell in mid-Sept. The car cleaned up pretty nice and she needs a waxing before I take a trek to Des Moines this coming weekend.
  6. Well, my Bonneville was getting oh so dirty. The cloth seats had crumbs in them (a first for this car) the carpet was dirty and had grass shaving, the car had 5 weeks of dirt on it, the tires weren't shiney, and the exhuast tips had 24 weeks of black dirt build up on them. It was time to clean her, sadly the SLE didn't get waxed only washed and detailed. On Saturday afternoon I washed the car for my son as he went to his last homecoming of his high school career with a cute friend of his. And me being ths softy I am washed it for him and then let him drive it! What was I thinking? Anyways I am sure he got the cobs out of it, prolly not a bad thing, but not that I don't. He came out and shop vac'd her and shinned up the dash and console, then he clean the tips and shinned the wheels up too. I know he had a great time at the dance and dinner in my baby... But it can home pretty clean so I asked him to take a few photos of it yesturday afternoon with the K100D and photoshop his favorites. So here is what he/I came up with... P.S. I hope everyone enjoys and saves them if they wish! My son also said how nice of a car it is to drive after running around in the 17 year old Grand Prix! Tell me what you think as always, and Fly what about the C&G Calender this year? Hmmm maybe one of these will work?
  7. All I have to say is...
  8. Yeah but he overlooked a few things, I would keep the wheels and switch everything else back to look stock, what an idot.
  9. Well it is amusing to watch Toyota make mistakes on a fullsize Toyota Tuff Truck. They really have tried but still missed. A few contractors in my area got them and I wonder when they will go bitch about there tail gates. Never have seen a problem on a GM or Ford even Dodge truck before. They failed to build a truck for real truck users. It is for people who had a Camry, but since the neighbor has had a Silverado Z71 for a few years they figure they need a real truck too. What they are getting is a half-assed piece of $h! with lots of things over-looked things that really truck users need.
  10. The Lucerne is way better looking has an optional V8, Onstar, blind zone warming/lane depature and has a more comfortable/roomy interior. Does Toyota have an of that on the Crap-Alon? Didn't think so and also the Avalon is just plain ugly. Still I say give me a Lucerne CXL in Crimson Red! :AH-HA_wink:
  11. They do sell the Prius so that makes up for the tail gate busting, cam snapping gas hogging poor quality Turd.
  12. This is good news, but I am not going to jump up and down yet. I want to see Malibu sales, and also new CTS sales!
  13. I like it! Build and sell it here! We send China the Enclave we can have the Park Ave and Riv!
  14. Yes they had another problem. A Chevrolet or GMC will not have that problem. The Jap's can't build a good fullsize truck!
  15. I bet a nav will be an optional eventually. The Impala isn't suffering because it doesn't have a nav.
  16. So how many units are they behind currently?
  17. How come I can't see the photos? I am at work but when I click on the first black one it says something about signing up.
  18. I like that truck! Sweet good luck with it (to your father!).
  19. Walked buy a silver CXL FWD with chrome 19's and loved it. They really are a neat looking CUV, then a young family in there mid 30's drove off in it!
  20. This is great news now everyone is on a level field. Not only that they have been blindly loyal to Toyota, glad they are stopping that. And the reliability feel that is even better news, I hope sales HURT very bad!
  21. It is better but still ugly. Lucerne CXL please!
  22. The SRX is a nice vehicle. Yes it might be getting long in the tooth but still nice!
  23. I think a GT would be enough power for me! I want the Safari wagon tho!
  24. My son had a stock market game in his class. I know nothing about stocks but said buy GM back in April at 28 bucks a share, he didn't make hardly any money, but if you would have given him the summer his investment would have returned well. They just didn't give him enough time. :AH-HA_wink:
