    NYIAS 2010

Given the lack of new product shown off at NYIAS I wouldn't. I enjoyed Chicago but a big part of that was I was looking at the new Regal for someone in my family, and wanted to see the PPV up close. I want to see all these new RWD refreshed Zeta's *were supposed to get, recall the 2012 Chevrolet SS?* and PCS promise of Pontiac coming back, come true.
  2. Well GMT I have the exact same stuff. While it does work, it is just not near as effective as I had hoped it would be. I have found I prefer just keeping a layer or two of wax on the cars and not worrying about using the clay bar so much. So spots you are better off going after wet with you finger-nails. I used it on both my Chevy's last summer to remove the trouble spots. I have yet to use it on either of my Pontiac's mainly because I haven't found a spot that needed it yet.
  3. Press Release: Buick-GMC Sales Increase 54 Percent in March, Leading a 43-Percent Gain for GM Brands • Combined Sales for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Increase 43 percent • Sixth Consecutive Month of Year-over-Year Sales Gains for GM's Four Brands • GM Estimates the Brands Will Increase Combined Total and Retail Market Share DETROIT – Buick and GMC dealers in the U.S. reported sales for those brands in March that were 54 percent higher than March 2009. This led to an overall gain of 43 percent for the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands in the U.S. Total combined sales for GM's four brands were 185,406 during the month. This represents a 34-percent increase from February 2010. These results are evidence that the company's plan to create sustainable and profitable growth is on track, according to Susan Docherty, GM vice president of marketing. "Our March results show continued progress toward our growth plan. By investing in our brands and remaining disciplined in our approach to the U.S. market, we posted solid results," said Docherty. "Our new vehicles, like the Chevrolet Equinox, Buick LaCrosse, GMC Terrain, and Cadillac SRX, are being well-received by customers for many good reasons, including quality, safety, excellent fuel economy, and higher resale values." Buick sales rose 76 percent and were led by the Buick LaCrosse, with an increase of 236 percent for the month. Year-to-date, sales of the LaCrosse have increased 197 percent. GMC sales increased by 45 percent for the month, led by sales of the GMC Terrain, which were up 331 percent for the month versus the vehicle it replaced. For the year, sales of the Terrain are up 245 percent. Chevrolet dealers reported sales of 133,165 – 41 percent higher than March 2009. The Chevrolet Equinox continued to sell at a brisk pace, with sales up 194 percent, compared to last year. Year-to-date, sales of the Equinox have more than doubled. In order to meet growing customer demand for the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain, GM announced plans to add additional production capacity last week. Cadillac March sales increased 42 percent on high demand for the Cadillac SRX. March sales of the SRX were 550 percent higher than a year ago, and are up more than 425 percent for the year. Month-end dealer inventory in the U.S. stood at about 428,000 units, which is about 8,000 higher compared to February 2010, and about 338,000 lower than March 2009. 4. I know this much I had seen officcal tests put it in 6.5-6.8 range, and after driving one I have no doubt. I have never personally seen anyone run one in the low 6's but I have heard it is possible, and yes it requires a few mods. I need to be doing that as well pretty soon here too.
  5. I understand you can drive lots of those G-platform cars right into the ground. They tend to run forever even you beat the piss out of them.
  6. Go for it, that sucker is a 454! That thing will tow a stinking house!
  7. They are sharp, maybe thats why I drive one! And to refresh your memory...
  8. Yes they did and they were certainly "ringers" 0-60 time were often in the mid 6's and a few mods would get them close to 6 flat. They were very entertaining to drive considering they were a large FWD V8 powered American boat. I so badly wanted one but settled on an SLE. When the GXP came out I knew I had to get one, I loved the new "clean" styling and also I had my son encouraging me to take the plunge and I now with 29,000 miles on mine I am certainly glad I did.
  9. Olds, just for the record it was a Grand Prix GXP with the 5.3L LS4 V8. The Bonneville GXP also wasn't a bad car either, the one I drove was a joy to drive with the rev happy 4.6L Northstar and the digger 3.71:1 axle ratio it really moved. Plus it had a great sound to it. Also your right most people had never heard of the GTO, G8 or Solstice even. I would love to see a few "great ones" come back.
  10. All I can say is... My wheels on my SLE still look like nearly 6 years later. The ones that are just 3 years on my Torrent look just "okay", and I always detail my wheels when I wax... (Which is at least 4 or 5 times a year!) I am not a fan of the chrome clad wheels after having them on the SUV. Anyways I am liking the new Impala LS fasica-spoke wheels it really gives the car a whole new look! I actually really like it, enough for me to actually consider one if I were in the market. Here is a photograph from the Chevrolet site...
  11. Ahh very sad they are going to water down a true "drivers car" brand some more. First it was the bangle styling and now this...
  12. It is a very nice looking truck, and from the photos that sucker is spotless. If everything checks out that puppy is certainly a buy!
  13. Well it looks alot more like a Buick than a Saturn at least to me. It is the best looking of the three by far. (North American Regal, CN Regal, and Opel) I heard this car was designed for Buick styling cues all along, just not as a North American vehicle, rather for China. I must say, I really like the car. Someone in my family is thinking about replacing there '08 Impala LTZ with a new CXL or CXL Turbo.
  14. Honestly I like the fact it is not just a "baby" LaX. I think the ports can be over done, and being it is a four cylinder only, it shouldn't have them except on the high performance GS. Also the styling to me after seeing in person at the Chicago autoshow isn't bland but rather classy.
  15. I love the Z71 package on the Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban and Avalanche! Also you selected my favorite color for them as well summit white. Also the silver interior trim is great even with the cashmere, much better than the fake wood in the LTZ's and what not. Anyways love the truck, I would love a Tahoe exactly the same.
  16. Great looking SUV! I love the color combo and the updated chrome wheels they had on the SLT for the last few years. Wishing you many worry free miles with the smooth 4200 Vortec powered GMC!
  17. Unless you visited the Buick Website on 3/15/2010 or have gotten your hands on new 2011 Buick Regal brochure due out 3/22/2010 you will have not seen these... Anys enjoy the photos that were up on the Buick website and now are long gone... But I decided to save them just in case... I checked back an hour later that evening and they were gone! Exterior Photographs
  18. Love the Av! The color combo has to be one of my favorites. The Z71 dash and silver instead of wood trim really set "her" off. Now get that Corsa and an Air Raid intake on her and post a vid of her for me!
  19. I am trying to get pounds off not gain extra ones. I weight more than enough as it is, why anyone would want more and to do more harm to their body is beyond my understanding. And yes I think she wants a reality show and some attention. She has alot to gain if she is going to get to 1,000 pounds. I am just thankful in this country we are free to do what we want even if it is stupid.
  20. Cool... I just might have to buy one...
  21. PCS I really want you to be right AGAIN. Also you are right, you have been correct thus far. I really deep down do believe in your word, and think I will like what happens... But the question remains how long till I see it? Also for the record you are a total stinker! :smilewide:My question is, will this new stuff be around when I am getting a car in about 2 years? I don't really care what name it is, as long as it is a Chevrolet or Pontiac/Holden and the pricing is no more than mid 30's.
  22. Won't be in the market for another year or two. They won't be around then.
  23. If you are trying to say we will see a Zeta Pontiac again, I am calling b.s. I still don't believe you that we will be seeing a Zeta Chevrolet "SS" or Caprice any day soon for the retail market. You say keep the faith, I am just looking at General Motors latest actions, nixing Pontiac, killing Olds, and have no faith. The PPV is my last hope I fear, and I would love to proven wrong. PCS just give me a date how long will I have to wait to hear all this good news? A month, half a year, a year, or like ten? The GM I know would be ten, prove me wrong. Please.
