  1. yeah i was just wondering and I think you dad is write.....I don't think the 20s on the yukon look that good....if I were them I would take the money they woulda spent on those and put them into some nice aftermarket 18 or 19s
  2. 1992 F150.....i think i was 9 or 10
  3. HAHA I have no idea then....no it was a pretty busy bar....i went up bought a couple drinks.....gave him a ten and got 2 $1 bills back...i don't know
  4. check this out funny stuff and the guy must have damn near drown because the river is just starting to go down after the 3rd highest flood ever here in Fargo
  5. wow the z06 really kicked ass once it really got going....if the gallardo hadn't got a jump both times i think the z06 would have owned it all of the way
  6. congrats....i can't wait til I have the cash to get a 900, i love me....so im not familiar with the packages....did he get the 20s and the whole works?
  7. very very nice northie....that thing looks perfect....and the 06 taillights would look awesome although I like the spoiler on there.
  8. o ouch....so sorry man. that guy really did a number on the aurora. I know how you feel though...my impala got run into last december. It was parallel parked on the street and some drunk ass on his way back from the bar came along and side swiped mine and then barreled into the pickup that was parked in front of my car....I heard it and got outside just in time to see the guy take off....i got the plate though and the cops took care of it all.
  9. I really hope you guys start getting E85 soon....its now at a station about every 15-20 miles in ND, and a new ethanol plant just broke ground up here so it is going to get even better. I have started using it in the new (to me) suburban. When I filled up the first time, I filled with half regular unleaded and half E85, because I heard you don't lose much mileage that way. I've been getting about 15 on the highway and 12 in town by what the computer is telling me (which would be great....can't do the actual math until next time I fill up. If this half and half thing works out the way I think it is going to and I'm actually not losing much mileage, then this summer I'm going to get another fuel tank out at the farm and fill it half full of gas and get some ethanol from the plant like 20 miles from here and fill up. I would be getting gas for more along the lines of about 2.00 a gallon or a little less but I have to do the math.
  10. I'm sure that dealer won't have a hard time selling it....im sure I'll drive by the dealer next week and see like 13-14 in the window....that usually how it goes. It was a clean vehicle, never any sheet metal damage, and always well cleaned. Plus, until this last winter, ND didn't use salt on any roads, so no rust showing up either. The only thing that wasn't in the best shape was the back hatch. I pull trailers a lot, so there are a lot of rocks that bounce off the trailer and back at the suburban, so there were a quite a few chips back there. Other than that, the rest of the exterior was in great shape, as well as the interior (since I was usually the only one in it). I wish I hadn't got so many miles on it, I always liked that vehicle.
  11. yeah im impressed with my Impala...I only bought it becuase I got a hell of a deal....its a 02 base model, I got it the end of 04 with 50000 miles on it and only payed 5200....it was a steal IMO. I really did think that it was an ugly ass car to begin with....those rear taillights still piss me off when I look at them. But I started adding stuff to it when I got some extra cash. First it was a spoiler off an SS, then I redid the stereo....A JVC head unit, Infinity 6.5" components speakers in front and back, and an Infinity 12" sub in back with it all being powered my MTX amps (some of you might care about all that, but I put it all in myself so I like telling people about it). Then I had Cat back dual exhaust added, (sounds really nice IMO, not loud but a nice tone). When I added the dual exhaust, I put on new American Racing Rims (to replace the steelies and hub caps) and tires. Before the next winter I added a car starter and car alarm (since my sisters CD player and CDs got stolen out of her car and mornings up here in Jan. are crazy cold and I was sick of running outside every morning) and finally, last month I added a different grill made by SLP and a K&N filter. Overall, its a great car. I don't mind the looks so much anymore....I actually love the front end now....I love the headlights and the edgy look it has...and the rear looks a ton better with the spoiler and the dual exhaust. It handles well, but if I end up replacing the shocks im going to add something a little stiffer, as the ride is a little spongy to me at times. But I love the way you sit in it. Its a very cab forward feel, like you looking down the hood, not up over it. If any of you out there have an Impala and are looking to add anything, I would go for the K&N filter and dual exhaust...I can definately feel it and it sounds great. It has a lot more mid-range torque from what I can tell.
  12. This morning I was over in Moorhead, MN...just across the river from Fargo....and the Moorhead police just got a new SSR.....looks REALLY sharp....funny thing though is that on the back it had an ad for the the dealer over here in Fargo that they got it from.....there was one on each back wheel well.
  13. Really? When I was in Canada a few weeks ago I got a few one dollar bills at one of the bars we went to....as for the US $1....i doubt they will be replacing it any time soon....if they do replace it they are going to have to replace EVERY bill reader in every vending machine in America....kind of a big deal. There are still some coin machines at car washes around here that don't take the last $5 redo.
  14. i have only seen one black one....but when i started thinking of it, I don't know that I saw anything but maroon, black, and pearl old escalades....did they have other colors?
  15. Lovin the '03 so far. One thing I really like is the blinkers in the mirrors....I just think they are cool. The other little things are nice too, like the stereo controls on the wheel, and the all the other little things you can program. The 6 disc is pretty useless to me though cus i just use my ipod and a fm transmitter. I think the bose sounds decent for a factory system, but it won't be in there for long...im kinda an audiophile so something better will be going in there soon. I think I got a pretty good trade for the 01. I was dealing with this dealer back in October on a white '03, and they offered me like 6500 for my trade, pissed me off. So when I started dealing with them on the one I bought, I dealt with another guy and was just working on a straight out deal, no trade. They told me they wanted 21000 for it and I talked them down to 19500, and then just out of curiousity I asked them how much they thought mine was worth. He came back and said he wanted 10500 to boot if i traded mine in. So like 9 grand in real cash for my 01. I don't know what makes mine worth so much more a few months later. It was a good trade i thought, cus I think I could have maybe sold mine myself for like 10000, but that was a big maybe. Plus I would have paid like 500 more in tax if I had not traded in. But yeah so like 9500 for an 01. It was an LT with everything but a sunroof, I think it was a good deal.
  16. autumn....another girls name, except a season instead of a month
