Top pic is rue Berri going north almost at the corner of rue Ontario. The bus terminal is just outside of the picture to the south. Bottom pic is the southshore suburb of Brossard. My mother-n-law, may God rest her soul, lived maybe a mile or two away from that intersection. My first house was bought in the suburb of La Prairie. You could see the sign telling you to drive straight ahead. In another 2 or so miles and you'd reach my house. The Ford Edge I bought in 2007 would be bought at the Ford dealership along the way to La Prairie just slightly past that overpass down yonder. Montmorency Ford. I know both areas very very...very well. Actually, I know Montreal and its surroundings very very well no matter where. Rue Berri is almost at the center of the city. St. Laurent boul. is the street that divides the city/island between east and west and Berri would be a handful of streets to the east. But Berri is the tourist and city bus terminal and our metro system has Berri at the center of where all the lines connect. EVERY Montrealer or tourist knows Berri very very well... Berri is almost downtown and Berri is also almost the access point of OId Montreal. About those sidewalks (trottoirs- merci pour le français) Montreal does clean them. We have cute ski doo buggies that fit our sometimes narrow sidewalks, (but in the last 2 decades it looks like Ville-Marie (the official name of the main city of Montreal) has spent millions in enlargening the sidewalks and bicycle paths. This is done after a snowfall during the snowfall but usually not long after it has stopped snowing. They do a fantastic job of clearing the snow. But...in the following days, snow ends up getting back to the sidewalks somehow. Whether because the actual street removal will dump snow back on the sidewalk through thee clean-up and residual snow gets back up there. Although sometimes those cute little tractors clearing the sidewalks work in tandem with the street clearing crews. It just happens. Montrealers ALWAYS bitch on how poorly the city cleans its streets and its sidewalks. No matter who the mayor is, no matter what burrough and what era, Montrealers DEMAND better... But ultimately, Montrealers cope with it...because we know it will NEVER get better. So we bitch some more to cope with it better. Keep in mind though...we do get a lot of snow.

I dont know why the camo. The "E-Ray" as this is supposed to be called, is in essence the Grand Sport. Grand Sports from the C6 and C7 were Z06 bodies with base Corvette V8s. This one kinda is the same in that it sounds like the LT2 is back there with obvious AWD from electric motor(s) (2?) powering the front wheels from a battery energy source in the front and inn the back, the rear wheels are powered by the V8. The body clearly looks like the widebody of the Z06. Even the shark tooth blade of the side vent looks like the Z06 blade rather than the Stingray one. The pattern seems to be followed albeit slightly modified. Therefore we already KNOW how the Z06 looks like and wee dont even NEED to visit a dealership. We dont even need to speculate as we could CLEARLY see through the camo that the body is CLEARLY a very close copy of the Z06 body. Like you said, Drew, a new vent and/or electric charge port door here or there. Maybe the front end is modified a tad...and it has a plastic "electric stylized" panel in the front like a Bolt had similar to this where as the Z06 is just a flat piece of plastic... But yeah, Im excited about it too!!!

Another personality change for America's sports car is on its way. This time its 2 changes at once. Hybrid electric and AWD. We knew it was coming. And Chevy finally revealed to us that its actually real. What it really looks like and how will it be powered by is yet to be revealed. The short reveal video is entertaining albeit cliché. Still, if one is a Corvette fan, especially if one is a fan of the C8, its exciting news.

You got to remember that he was a product of the 1970s. He stopped smoking considerably in the 2000s. Cigarette marketing was at an all time high by this time. Cigarette ads like the Marlboro Man started in the 1950s? and by the time we got to the 1970s, cigarette smoking was a regular thing we did. Yeah, he actually smoked DURING the games, ON the bench. He wasnt the only one during his era. I do agree with you about smoking being bad for one's health, and I equally agree with you about vaping, at least today's young athletes for the most part, do NOT indulge in unhealthy life choices. Smoking is largely gone in the sports world. Other kinds of drugs however are not. Its scary to think how much faster, stronger some of these old school athletic superstars would be if they ate, exercised and trained and stopped the smoking and drinking like how today's athletes are. Take Babe Ruth for example. He smoked, drank and ate without a care in the world. But that was normal behavior for his era. Now imagine his natural abilities with today's view on athletic training and diet...

Phoque YEAH!!! Imagine how steady you have to be in order to accomplish that sort of thing? The pilot has to counter every little blip for a rescue mission like that to succeed. Blips like wind, or if in the water, the waves. The people walking inside the helicopter also produces bounces. I would be in a psychological mess trying to focus to get the Chinook steady enough for people to be rescued. LOL

Guy! Guy! Guy! Playing for a franchise overloaded with legends, Guy was one of the best. 5 time Stanley Cup champion past away yesterday. Guy Lafleur would be the last Hab I would cheer for as a Canadiens fan before I defected to become a Boston Bruins fanboy. He would retire from the game (only to come back a couple of years later) in 1985 (because Montreal management and coaching would treat him like shyte) which would coincide my last year I would cheer for the Habs. He was such a great talent to see skating up and down the ice. So electric. RIP

I remember that Mercedes canceled all of their V8 offerings not too long ago. OK...so I read that Mercedes will bring back some of their V8s in some of their SUVs. But Mercedes canceled their V8s. GM hasnt canceled theirs, havent made ANY announcements of ANY cancelations OF their V8s. (other than the fact that will be a battery electric car company in the very near future as announced by their governing CEOs) So...hybrids are a brand new rage for full sized trucks in 2022? Its as if GM never offered hybrid tech in their full sized trucks before. Like a decade ago (or even less) or anything... Its not as if GM aint working on a full-on, 100% battery electric truck or anything...for the future as how they explained that eventually ALL their offerings will BE battery electric meaning eventually all of their internal combustion engines will be gone, not JUST their V8s. Yet somehow, surprisingly, its not as if they are hard at it in keeping hard core V8 performance around in their trucks.... Yeah...that is all gone... When Ford, GM's main competitor in this market, decided to go all turbo ecoboost V6 in this arena and provide a base engine with a helluva lot more power and torque than GM's base V8 5.3 liter. Yeah...doom and gloom for that base 5.3 liter also happened... So...it seems that Toyoter, came up with a BRILLIANT idea to hybrid-ize their Tundra in 2022 wheen they had Hybrid tech a decade ago and THIS will spell doom and gloom for . Its actually this now...

Im more excited to see the Colosseum. Especially knowing that you (@trinacriabob) were actually right there. I WILL eventually visit Italy to see all these magnificent places for myself. We were supposed to go this year. My daughter's high school trip was to be in Sweden and end in Italy (Rome) and my wife, son and I were to meet up when the high school trip ended and we would continue a family vacation right after. Phoquing Covid got in the way... As soon as we could travel relatively well, next year or the next, Italy will be checked off the bucket list.

I hope Mercedes found efficiency so the tech could change the EV world that much faster. Whatever tech Mercedes has found to travel 621 MILES is great for ALL EVs and for the masses that will eventually have no choice BUT to purchase. So if Mercedes says its EV went 621 miles without recharging, then it should be true. So this (sealing of the charge port) is pure theatrics and simple bullshyte!!! Because if its true its true.... Mercedes will put this tech into their EVs going forward and it will benefit their image, customers, the planet and will be the kings of the EV world. But if its false... and just bullshyte hype, then the customers that bought into this false 621 mile claim, then their image will be severaly tarnished. The 621 mile claim is proven and the benefits are reaped when actual customers buy and benefit from that tech. Words are just words. Pictures of sealed charging ports are just theatrical bullshyte. If true, no need for the theatrics... is what Im saying... Im also saying that Im quite pleased that 600 miles of EV range has potentially been achieved.
