Yep. I've only played with Vista a bit, but after I get the hang of it I think it should be fine..

Yeah, it was a decent deal... I have 2GB, I was afraid of what Vista would do to 1GB...though I could have upgraded it.... I liked the fact it had the next-gen wireless, and a good CD burner, and a dual core processor..... Not bad for school and a little bit of fun....

Umm..have you forgotten where you live, NOS? I've seen people try DSM as a beater, and it never works out.. A co-worker has one last winter and it caught fire on 23...I think it was on the news.... And the S-series are fine, I've driven them on the freeways with no problems..... The Z24s are ok...just make sure you take good care of that 2.4, and it should take care of you... Though you might be better with the Eco (03+), and you can find them pretty cheap....

Tomorrow I get to pick my birthday present...a brand spanking new Gateway labtop.. Can't wait! Not looking foward to Vista though.... Usually I tell the wife not to get me stuff for my birthday, but this year she dragged my butt to the store (almost literally ) I needed one of these things anyway, since I was planning to head back to school soon. I was planning to borrow one, but this works out better... Looks cool too...I'm not even sure what I want to do with it first....

Wow. I'm still glad you are okay... I had a good friend get killed when a drunk driver flipped his Silverado...Killed his whole family (wife and little one on the way) That still hasn't healed.... God bless side air bags......
