  3. Black Hole Sun? That was a Driver's Ed song to me....sometime back in high school.....
  4. I think that there has to be another reason....
  5. ? What about just getting the rag top? I honestly think that would work better for you......
  6. I much as I love cars- I find this the stupidest agruement- like ever You people are complaining about something you can't even control. About 60 percent of the buying public won't even get a rat's ass if they changed a few other things on it- as long as it comes out... I love the design of the car-plain and simple. Will I put my money where my mouth is-maybe. I'd be more than happy with a base v6 with a few toys and stripes.....I don't plan to race the doors off cars, nor am I worried about how much hp it has. Maybe it's because I'm more of a cruiser, just enjoying my car when I can. Pillar? Woopee. I'd rather see it priced so that people can afford it-just like the mustang. Besides-they will have to change that design a bit down the road.. you never know. Fly: I think your day will come. Unless they have to get rid of Buick....
  7. I agree with the whine, but turbos can be more fun. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. I like.
  9. I've noticed in the last few weeks my wagon has started losing power on its pick up. It struggles to get up to speed-but seems to be ok once it gets there-until I have stop again. I was planning to replace the pcv valve, fuel filter-possibly the IAC. But I've noticed that it really gotten worse as it has finally warmed up. But I'm wondering- could the cat be causing most of these issues? (After BV's Fire' and my dad bringing it up-it got me thinking) The car has hadsome bad gas in it's life-even had some a few months ago (thanks, BP. ) And the Cat has never been replaced, which is now over 140,000 miles. What do you guys think?
  10. If you're driving a Geo Metro, maybe. Other than that-it's total B.S. Years ago that could have been said-but Today's oils are so advanced, even dino oil will protect that engine pretty well.... The only reason I used Mobil 1 is that we do quite a bit of city (stop and go) driving, which can be harder on the oil and engine. I try to baby my engines.....
  11. Eh, the cat will mess with everything...

  15. I tend to baby em'...though I usually wait until the first 3k to change the oil...

    Yay!

About time! After all kinds of issues with this computer (including the motherboard not being put in right-I needed another one) I can now check stuff on my own computer. Yay!
  21. Well, in that case-I do feel for ya. Expect the water pump to die off if it hasn't already. And I agree with 76 on that one-Fuel pumps are an issue on the 2.4s too..though I'm not sure why. It sounds like it might need a new fuel filter and a good injection cleaner too.... As much as I like the J's, I won't touch one with a 2.4 in it.....
  22. Madzas? What kind of car are those? Are they good cars? :AH-HA_wink:
  23. Usually those are beater cars..like my wagon. :AH-HA_wink: These cars protect our good cars..like the ones we really like to drive....
