  1. Tan. I can live with just about anything else...
  2. Sounds about right. THough my music tastes are all over....
  3. I can't see why not... You'd have to watch the oil though....
  4. Then it's not working as well in her car...I don't think I've seen nastier Mobil one... I need a better working one!
  5. Yep, the filter should be the same as the one in my wife's 2.2 Eco ( 03 Cav)...I'm pretty sure the Balt's oil filter is one of those "inside" filters... How clean does your Balt' oil after 3k-pretty good? Her Eco does a good bit of city driving, but my Mobil 1 should not look so piss poor after just 3k miles... Even my wagon's oil is doing better.....
  6. Well, that in itself is a good reason to get one. And believe it or not, pretty fun to drive...(maybe that's why high school kids run to piss out of them.. )
  7. There's an "in" crowd? Never paid much attention to that stuff...
  8. This kinda goes in the "who cares" bin, bottom line is that they are hurting (a bit) and things are not going to change overnight. Gas prices are going to hit slap sales down a bit further. Lux cars in general are going to take a hit, as even Caddy is going to feel the sting here.... The Ridgeline is in trouble, but I'm a bit surprised about the Element-as it is pretty decent on gas....
  9. Fuel pump-common in Astros... Happened to my friend's old 91 Astro....
  10. Agreed. Something that will help them out quite a bit...
  11. Very Nice. I like.
  12. I like my 3.1.... When its time to send the Cavalier to the "yard (when the rust finishes it off).. One of the cars I've really considered was a 97-2003 Century...for Fly's reason, plus you can beat the piss out of them ( I see these cars being driven by high school kids now... ) I'd love one with a moon/sunroof, slap a set of nice rims on, add a cd player, and I'll be good to go...
  13. I can agree with Cap there. Though I don't know about the 80s (love most everything about it)....but damn, I feel just a bit older and out of place... I've had a chance myself to catch up on a little pop culture...and all I can say is..wow. They actually I have show-I love the 90s....I still remember the 90s!!! It's almost...wait..it is scary..things change even faster now...
  14. I've driven a few..and rented a sedan... I'd have to agree with the easy to drive, and our rental averaged about 31mpg on the freeway...
  15. Hopefully it will be something interesting.....
  16. I'd agree with the K&N...I just can't justify a 10 buck + oil filter in a Cavalier..... I want something that has the best filter in it..even if I have to pay a few extra bucks for it. Do you think the paper oil filters ( the one you stick in the the ecotec) by Wix would still be better than the others? I'm already looking at a can oil filter (usual) by Wix for the Wagon...
  17. Hope it heals soon!
  18. Wow, just wow.
  19. I've been pretty lucky...most of my local dealerships tend to be pretty good..I've been to a few bad ones, but maybe it is beacuse there are so many dealerships in my area......
  20. Any cavaliers? S-10? Mazdas?
  21. I think the Chevy Taverse will do just fine. I'm not even sure it will eat into sales of the others, if much at all. 1. Gm's minivans are gone after this year. Many of the people who are looking for a replacement of these vans will come looking at these. Will everyone get one? No, but I expect quite a few will (like my parents..) 2. And the TB's days are numbered. This also gives people to slide into one of these... As the minivan market continues to shrink, there will be more people....
