Ok-wandered the local dealership...spotted a few 07 balts.... Comments.... ALMOST 300 BUCKS FOR PAINT?! ON A COBALT?!!! WTF???? Granted I love the new sport red color-but for extra bling? WHY? They pulled anilock brakes as part of the standard package on the LT....why? I saw a LT package...it was like almost 2 grand! The new wheelcovers in the package were a hoot....they almost look like real metal rims until you give them a smack... Not sure about the lack of door guards...though I like the smooth look... I like the new radio...alot. I also like the new steering wheel...looks good. Sport red-Laser Blue=sweet colors...

Are the 07s out yet? haven't seen any 07 cars yet...

Hmm..strangely enough, she liked the 4 better...handled better... It's funny you put the engines that way...can't win... I liked the V6 though...it could go...

I have had the wifie out testing driving a few of the cars that she likes.... Nox, Vibe, Vue. Test drove the Vue today. Rode in-but haven't driven one yet. Drove two models- one w/ the 4 banger-and other a v6... Test drove the V6....she liked. But soon as it's my turn to drive...we get quick rush of rain...then someones pulls out in front of me. How come my few minutes suck? The sun rolled out for a few mintues...looked like a storm was on the way... The nice saleslady thinks we have time for a quick spin in the other Vue before the storm.... little did we know a severe storm was rolling in...... Weather was fine thoughout the wife's drive. The second I get in-I see a huge bolt of lightning. Great. and now the driver's side window had to think about going up. As that happened- gusty rain soaks me. Finally, it goes up.... Then- It HAILS! Pea sized-but a lot. And driving though this both a rain, hail, and crazy wind. Wow. Thank goodness it ended pretty quick. Now I remember why I liked these panels....though the driver's side was pretty wet..... What a wild test drive! Verdict- she loved it! I really liked it myself, impressed by the 4 banger... Now it's between the Vue and Vibe. Sadly, this isn't the first time I end up in crazy weather... I test drove a s-10 during a tornado watch, and I just had pulled in as heck broke loose....

yep-I can agree with the interior-though I'm sure it will get some updated sheetmetal on the outside-hopefully they don't mess to much with the coupe's rear end..makes the coupe stand out. Though it sound like the sedan will get new taillights though...

*looks around* Anyways, the employee discount would be a bad idea all the way around... GM has gotta shake the "wal-Mart" of the auto industry as fast as they can... Plain and simple-people still want to have some value left on their car/truck. 0 for 72 is fine...it does offer some kind of deal.... Go ahead and let DCX steal some sales this month. They are going to take a beating for this quite soon.... I'll bet money that Honda and Toyota watch...hell, they can sell their cars just based on gas milage....

How about the GP? They are leasing those things like crazy around here...like 149 a month, I think. Cheap, affordable power. Then add a mod or 2. :AH-HA_wink: Beat the **** out of it, then give it back to them in a few years.. Besides, how much damage can one do to a car in a few years?

Hmmmm...interesting. I wish I could say I've done lots of crazy things, but I had a lot of tradgey in my younger years... Not a saint though... :AH-HA_wink: One of my favs... After work ( at night) a co-worker decide to race in the parking lot at work... As a joke.... A Firebird and a 12-year old Cavalier...you could guess who won... :AH-HA_wink: Got the surrounding businesses all crazy..lots of people watching... After, we had to hustle out of there...cause a bunch of cops arrived... My poor manager comes out after closing the store, to find 6 cops cars waiting out there for him... Best part was how funny it found it.... Ah, good times...

Not so much true-you can. I've had co-workers going from full syn in winter to reg. oil during the summer months(Mobil 1) with almost no issues..(just a little leak he had) I personally wouldn't switch back and forth though... On my newer cars, one runs on Mobil 1, but the other is still running on dino oil (until it gets to the proper milage)-but will get Mobil 1 as soon as it is time... The wagon runs on Quaker State, which it has been running on since new. It will keep getting QS until it stops running...no messing with that ....
