  1. Great job. Very talented dude, to be sure. I have Z to thank for my sig. When my cousins in Italy saw the sig, they had to put the phone down they were laughing so hard. Frank's da man!
  2. Affordable: LaCrosse CX sedan or Monte Carlo LT coupe Toward the expensive: Cadillac DTS (and a stocking stuffed full of prepaid gas cards to help me feed it for a handful of years, if I may be so bold)

  4. Agree. The W-body has been my best car ever in terms of reliability. I don't care that it's old school. I love its reliability. Disagree. I think the Chinese LaCrosse is awkward, with a lot of little quirky styling cues that don't work well together. I think the LaCrosse on this side of the pond is quite fixable, with a few nips and tucks here and there. I had the opportunity to live with one for a week in Montreal and loved the damn car. Happy holidays, guys!
  5. You're funny.

  7. Well, here I am packing for tomorrow afternoon's flight up to PDX. I will stick around Friday night and all of Monday, the 25th, before flying out. Sat and Sun will probably be a jaunt to Seattle, overnighting up there. I can only stay near my Mom for very limited doses as she is both a pain-in-the-ass and stupid...sorry. (I was told, "I hope you bring up some nice clothes and go to Mass on Christmas day." ) I can't believe that someone who can't do ANYTHING would need to instruct me...I have no problem with the Mass part, as I will probably find a parish to duck into and go to church, but the apparel part is out of control. At any rate, how will you be spending the upcoming holiday weekend? (Today I was wondering about moltar and the blast of snow which closed down Denver, a major air hub).

  9. Glanced at it real quick...it takes work to put one of these together. A couple of people here at work (generally the under-30 crowd) have these. The part that jumped out: "don't want kids" --
  10. Thanks, guy! Remember: 260 V8, rally II wheels and crushed velour 60-40 or buckets/console set-up. How can I forget, since we're in a Minnesota state of mind, I could meet WMJ and Regfootball at the same time, bitching about "archi-torture" with the latter of the two.
  11. Get it again, this time in PA...what's to stop you?
  12. Five C&Gers to hang out with: Ones I've met (and I'd visit with them again): 1. Rivieraranch - during my vacation in So. Florida 2. Razoredge - during my vacation to Montreal and upstate NY Others I haven't met but definitely would: 3. Flybrian - he lives in Florida and I'm going again in mid-May 4. Bobo - went to U.C. Berkeley, so he's obviously very smart, plus he lives in California 5. Any of the N.Y. / Northeast Italians on the board (though Paolino probably would steer clear of me seeing how curt he's been with me, for whatever reason, over the last 6 months or so... :AH-HA_wink: love you, too, P ) And, of course, there are a host of others I would want to meet for all the "right" reasons (profession in common, geographics in common, ethnicity in common, interests in common). Realistically, there are no more than 3 or so I wouldn't want to meet, given less than optimal vibes that have gone back and forth.

  14. I'm Catholic, dude. Guilt is my middle name. Now, if I was Jewish, that sentiment would be amplified exponentially.

  16. Which movie...again, the 1980's ? "Most men are little boys ... once they get a whiff of it they trail you like a hound."

  20. Last line in "Gone with the Wind" - extremely controversial to have used the word "damn" in a movie in 1939! How times have changed. What about someone answering my quiz up above?
  21. Is it Hilary Swank in "Million Dollar Baby"? My turn - it's from the mid-80's: "I've got a trig test tomorrow and I'm being chased by Guido the killer pimp!"

  24. I think that when ocn wrote that, he intended for me to epitomize bitterness....interesting that he "knows" me as well as he thinks he does ... from nearly 3,000 miles away...
