  1. When is San Pietro e Paolo? My mother always calls Italy on that day for some onomastico wishes to various P and Ps...At any rate, December 13...December folks are cool, arent' they? I didn't look it up, but what I can recall happened was: 2003 - Saddam Hussein captured (reported on 12/14 a.m. here, so 12/13 eve there) 2004 - Scott Peterson found guilty (or sentenced to die) in California for the deaths of Laci and unborn baby Conner What I do know is famous people who share the birthday: Christopher Plummer (actor) Dick Van Dyke (actor) Ted Nugent (musician) Mary Todd Lincoln (political figure) Too bad I wasn't on the day before which would have been with Frank Sinatra, Connie Francis, Dionne Warwick and Bob Barker - the first 3 all of whom sing and were born in New Jersey.
  2. Yeah, but more than the smell of it, I hate "coffee breath."
  3. body Great movie: "Body Heat"

  7. Yo, Ocn, do you suppose you could get another "theme" going? You appear to have a case of monomania. Bob Barker really had the announcer persona, unlike schmucks like Pat Sajac (sp) and especially Monte Hall.
  8. manhole (oh, no, I shouldn't have said that)
  9. Yeah, what a cast of characters. And to think that somewhere in 2003 or 2004 I stumbled onto site looking to get info on the new LaCrosse. AND I STILL HAVEN'T BOUGHT ONE, BUT KEEP RENTING THEM! Yep, some interesting folks: WPBH, 98, Lord Stafford, LeeRon, Budman3, Marc, Chief, Lauren... And do you guys remember Akwan who didn't stick around very long (he was evidently a p*s*y-whipped doctor whose wife pulled his strings)? I think he lived somewhere near Atlanta but maybe in TN or NC.

  12. Isn't it some tall, bulky older building in downtown Detroit that says (or said) GENERAL MOTORS on it? I mean, I know they are now in RenCen, but didn't they have this Gothic looking building within the last 50 years or so? God, was it ugly.

  15. I'm almost sure that the Buick 4.1 V6 with a four barrel carb made its way into Regals, LeSabres, Electras as well as Rivs, Toros, Eldos, Sevilles and DeVilles. There would be a small square badge that says 4.1 V6. Seeing one of these under the hood of any large car is humorous. The upper radiator hose is as long as an anaconda.

  17. Yup, Chargerino, you're a veritable FRIGHT. Now go fetch some candy...mini Almond Joys, lots of them, would be pretty good!
  18. WMJ...I was looking for that Grand Le Mans of yours (isn't it cool?) in the catalog. It was one of the missing ones. Shucks!
  19. Ditto. Happy Halloween. I've got a class from 7 pm and a paper is due, to boot. And here's a question with an answer: Q: Why can't witches have babies? A: Because they have hollow weenies. So incredibly stupid, but what can you expect from Catholic grammar school in LA.
  20. Not offended. Bring them on! Yeah...the lesbian's house version is heard is slightly different, but pretty much the same.
  21. I love it. It's a keeper. I will tell it to people at work tomorrow. Allow me to add one: What is the difference between a "Wheat Thin" and a lesbian? A "Wheat Thin" is a snack cracker and a lesbian is a crack snacker.
  22. You are SO weird !!! Damn architects.

  24. I just got back from Quebec. Went to "Second Cup" every morning and did my to do lists and written chores while drinking some good cups of tea. I like the Earl Grey flavor. The basic breakfast blend is good too. I absolutely detest herbal teas. Drinking a hot beverage to start off a cool morning in Montreal was great! At a more formal breakfast, I may get both the orange juice and the tea. I don't drink much coffee, though. What's your morning drink of choice?
