  1. the paint itself isn't coming off, just the clearcoat.
  2. GO SATURN! for a couple grand more, you get a loaded ION. But seriously, focus is fading in the dust...who cares about it anymore.
  3. those yukon headlights just look plain goofy to me.
  4. Also, I think when I had the drivers door repaired when I had gotten into an accident, my insurence company probably used some crappy clearcoa, but its happening on the hood too, it started from where the windshield washer fluid sprayers are. The car looks like it crying..lol
  5. The car is 1999...but still...i ended up powerwashing most of the clearcoat off where it was chipping so it doesnt look as bad.
  6. Does anyone else find that the clearcoat is chipping off of their chrysler/plymouth/dodge/jeep? The clear coat is shedding off of my plymouth breeze!
  7. you know what would've kept plymouth alive? http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/pronto-spyder.html ^that would've been DIRECYT competition with the saturn sky and pontiac solstice.
  8. The only that I have is the Honda-like grill bar.
  9. and yet...no mention of a new small car...guess im gettin an ion this summer
  10. i was thinking about shoving some under the dash board...cuz the plactic shrinks in the winter so everything isnt so snug...which causes the noises
  11. and where would that be located?
  12. Even though I got a 98 Saturn SL!, I wash it once a week, wax it every copule months, vacuum and clean the interior once a month.
  13. I have this adhesive AC foam used to shove in between the glass when you put an AC in the window, So I had an idea since the radio console in my 1998 Saturn SL1 rattles frequently, I took the plastic around the radio off and I stuck the adhesive foam on the inside and reattached the plastic and it doesn't rattle anymore. But, I still hear rattles from other places in the car, does anyone know where i could stick the foam to, to make it stop? I hope I didnt confuse anyone
  14. The current camry is nicer lookin!
  15. ok...i did my first ever sketch of the Plymouth Surge Compact SUV/tall wagon...i took the pic w/ a webcam so the quality isnt great. http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/3002/m7io.jpg
  16. They could make alot of $ off of the value brand..if they knew how to use design and style in it.the neon was one of the most ugly cars(pre-2000) ever...Someone was not thinking when they designed headlights that turn yellow after a year.
  17. Chrysler seems to be going for the upscale $20,000+ range...What about those people who love Chrysler but can't afford 30K? Bring Plymouth back! Ditch the neon, bring a new small car, midsized car, and compact SUV under the plymouth badge. I miss the breeze so much!
  18. it could be done...i have thought about a good commercial for it too
  19. see? I think it would a good idea!
  20. but a lot of people do love their older saturns...
  21. i made a sketch of a restyled sl2 but my scanner is spazzing out.
  22. Ok, many car companies have decided to dip into their history and make new models out of old designs...why not saturn? I was thinking the Saturn 90's series....take the late 90's coupes and sedans, completly update them but give them the same feeling because many saturn owners love their 98 sl2 or 96 sc! So why not redo those models and reintroduce them? I donb't know, its some very random idea that I had last night
  23. yuck...the current model looks better then this!
  24. thx!..cuz i hav an offer of 5600 on my 98' sl1...which is amazing! but it has under 30k miles on it
  25. ok thanx
