I've never hunted for elephant penis before. Why do they cut them, I would think they would want to leave as much there to offset the front wheel drive like weight imbalance of the snout in the front.

they actually build any cars (besides the vibe) in california? For all that they consume, you'd think they ought to figure out how to build a few of them there. same can be said about their electricity, gasoline, water supply.......

Study Finds High-Fructose Corn Syrup Contains Mercury
regfootball replied to Croc's topic in The Lounge
well its currently a fuzzy diagnosis. which emphasizes a couple things, one, that the word 'spectrum' is involved and the term autism encompasses many levels on the 'spectrum'. in the case of my daughter, she does not have the traits of what some say are heavily autistic. She is pretty mainstreamed and normal, most folks would just find lots of what she does sometimes as bizarre and she has communication and socialization issues. Recently the school district as part of her status in the special ed program did a new reevaluation and by their multiperson observation they do not feel she falls under a full autism diagnosis. My bet is if i took her back to the independent group for a new evaluation they would still say that she is. But with the services she gets right now, its enough to improve what she needs improving on the most and they won't dumb her education down and treat her like a mental patient or helpless individual. She's pretty much fully integrated and mainstreamed in every way, just gets some individual speech and social coaching. We are in this weird area where they had to evaluate her this year but then in like 15 months is the next change in the way school services are structured so I am waiting till then to see what happens and I will get her re-evaluated again by outsiders if i see fit to keep her education plan where i think it needs to be. This is where $h! like Jenny McCarthy saying her kid is 'cured' or all this parents who seem to seek to 'cure' their kids, bothers the snot out of me. Hello, can I make this easier for you. THIS IS WHAT YOUR KID IS MADE OF. THIS IS NOT 'CURABLE'. It is 'treatable'....that is, you do the things you need to do so they can learn and grow and function and survive and mingle in a world that seems abnormal to them as much as we think how they behave is abnormal to us. Its a neurological thing, these are kids who are just simply wired in a different way. Now, my daughter is a happy and crazy kid. Some autistic kids I do admit have the behavioral things of extra aggression and that and again, that is treatable and has to managed, it can't be 'cured'. My daughter has social issues like not really recognizing other people's moods or being respectful of what others are doing. So for example, a therapy would be suggested to help her learn how to recognize that whereas most of us just pick that up through growing up and culture. Mercury has been blamed as has other toxic chemicals for the incidence of this in our kids. This HFCS study is stirring the pot on the mercury thing and i am not sure why. Are we trying to start a lawsuit? In my mind, there is no way the autism mystery will never be understood in my lifetime. The Autism societies have officially stated that contaminated vaccines and all of that are not responsible, and that it is all neurological and perhaps genetic and causes are not yet found. Yet many parents are convinced they can see an exact moment when 'their child was taken away from them'. Its all crazy. I have even read things that says too much TV makes your kid autistic. If the feds knew what caused it, you better believe that they probably would not tell us the truth for fear of rampant lawsuits on so many levels. And yet how can they all say there is no warrant to investigating contimination as part of cause or being a factor? All i know is I have seen and heard enough stories alrady about the pain this causes so many parents (tenfold issues compared to me) and all you want is to say 'God why can't we figure this out and please if there is some way to cure this please do so so these parents can stop feeling all the guilt and pain and lack of patience and all this other anxiety. So yeah, reasons like this are why people are so sensitive on the mercury thing. They don't want anything taking away their kid from them. No one wants to feel like they have a 'damaged child'. That is the first thing you have to get past when you have a kid that you discover is 'not normal'. That's why articles like this are so powerful, they strike fear and emotion into so many parents. And then, they go eat all sorts of fish and don't think twice about the mercury. Go figure. -
GM gives dealers some breathing room on Saturn
regfootball replied to Oracle of Delphi's topic in General Motors
i'll resume astra shopping too, myself, once the job ship comes in. i think the impact of a brand shutdown on resale is not as dramatic as everyone makes it. this is a GENERAL MOTORS car, not like if say, Renault went under in the US. GM already now will let non saturn dealers warrant the used ones and do service work on them. after Olds died, at least around here, Aleros kept the same value as grand ams and typically intrigues and auroras held their value really well. the auroras were always pricier than the same bonnevilles at the time. the 01+ Auroras actually were always on lots for premium dollar. Since its GM it will hold its value better than the Kias and Hyundais flooding the market. -
well, it's nice knowin ya. I guess you know, you should be sent to the scrap heap like General Motors.

back where i grew up, sugar beets were a huge crop item. but i do recall where HFCS started to take away the sugar beet business. beet sugar is often competitive with cane sugar. -

yup. the corn growers have an unreal lock on the US. ethanol. corn syrup. people bitched about the GM loans. but look at the money the farm program gets for this . sick -

ah yes, i could see now where indy and say, STL would make sense too. KC is west and north of Sprgfld. and Indy for example is inbetween where you are now and Springfield.

Study Finds High-Fructose Corn Syrup Contains Mercury

there is a large spanish population in my town so there is a spanish section in the supermarket and they always have the coke from mexico available. i should try it again. kinda makes ya wonder if diet pop isn't better for ya after all!!!! i had gotten this article the other day from someone i know. my daughter has had an autism diagnosis so i run sometimes with a group that has a more watchful eye on this stuff, of course as mercury has partially been to blame for the autism thing too. -
you know it sounds like you have a great deal of talents that you just need to find the way to get someone to notice them. And your girlfriend sounds like she has lots of varying but in demand skills as well. It really sounds to me like you just need to do a couple of things. Narrow down to specifics maybe 3,4 communities that sound of interest to you, and just generate some data on average rents, taxes, wage base, unemplyment rate, etc. Then factor in the intangibles, which town just seems interesting or more close to where you think you want to be. In your case, I think with such a broad range of talent, that perhaps are there technical firms / recruiters that can direct and place you? It really cuts the job search down to the chase if the field you are in needs workers and you are just getting started. It can be a 'way in'. Even if it just lands you some interim work that can solidify your resume in your new spot. Then you can decide ok, is this career gonna take off for me, or will i have to freelance? Her skills seem like she could be suited for many things and all very much in demand, management in restaurants (trust me those are in demand), child care (ALWAYS a steady need in that field) and even the horse industry....i even know someone right now who makes nice part time money dealing with horses. For her, it may take a bit for her to figure out what her groove is, but it sounds like she really has the ability to do many things and be good. What is a plus here is that when you change towns, you almost have an added credibility of being 'new' to wherever you go. You kind of have a clean slate with no baggage in terms of any career rep that is following and no real path of people to pick and poke at any supposed deficiencies in your skill set. But the thing is, you're young and have a great desire to do well, and trust me, that can tip the scales in good favor your way on many accounts. One thing to consider in the equation if you do not have it now....this is a big issue. Consider setting yourself up for a situation where you have access to affordable health care plan too. If it turns out you make the move and you like the job and can build your resume with it going forward, you will probably desire to work for someone where health care is part of the deal. Of course, all this 'wisdom' on careers from me, currently jobless. Discard it if I sound crazy. I do think the overall main thing on top of all of this is that staying at home could prove more detrimental than anything to you. You can't let the situation there bring you down into the mud. Combine the thought of leaving with the possibility of opportunity elsewhere and maybe the wind is blowing a bit in the direction its trying to lead you. This is as much a decision about what you feel is right to do vs. what is merely making sense. Err on the side of happiness and know that even if you still leave home, you can always go back to visit on holidays, even if she serves popcorn instead of turkey. You might be lifted up more by finding a new home for yourself. And no decision (well almost no decisions) are ever final. If it doesn't work out to move then at least you know you did what you thought was right at the time. I know the tough part would be 'how do i get money to get started on this plan until i find 'that job'? I know, that is the $h!ty part. Long ago I always relied on my credit cards to fund my moves and periods of instability (that includes now even, LOL) so if you do not have access to credit in some form that takes away a bit of your safety net. Consider that maybe if you do move you might have to try to find a place to live to do mass transit or short walking commutes for a brief time if the car is unsustainable. Not anyone's favorite idea, but you know what i mean. I have a friend who lives in KC and likes it and says it is inexpensive to live there. I have no idea how close that is to Springfield (geologically challenged). I love that people chastise the midwest for being 'uncool' but dammit at least they are still places to live that you can try to live with lower living expenses. Does SD or Iowa sound like a possibility? I know Sioux Falls is a cheap progressive town with no state income tax and cheap cost of living. Vibrant too. Some parts of Iowa are vibrant. I need to look at a map, forgive if I have no clue where those are in realtion to where you think you want to be. summary, you might just need to get out. it may be best for everyone to see this as a cue to move to the next act and next grat chapter. and in the process keep everyone from getting worn out with each other. sometimes the best way to preserve relationships is space.

C/D's 0-60 with the malibu4/6 sp was mid 8's or low 8's. i can't quite recall but they did a test with the 3.5v6 /4 sp when it came out. i gotta check the time but i think the 4 pot with 6 sp might be quicker to 60. -

to me it would befit an acura to have a better dashboard, one not so juvenile. if acura still used real car names and still had the vigor, they could make a hybrid version of that and call it the hybrid vigor. and then people would confuse it with crop seed.

sorry about this viper. I know you liked that ride.
