i havent been on this site long... only since january... but when i first came on... there was a sketch competition in progress... sketch competition 2: RWD pontiac sedan... the competition had been running since october 2005 because it was never ended by an admin... and here we have a similar problem... the voting for sketch comp 4... was suppose to end on May 14th... last sunday... yet it is still in operation... because it has not yet been ended im sure i do not speak for myself when i say im frustrated with the way the sketch comps are left to run on endlessly yet the chopping comps are consistently on time with deadlines etc... i am aware that the admins have alot to do... and i understand that sometimes you have to put other things in front of others... but i do not understand how a voting thread for a competition can run over a week longer than the deadline and not be noticed... it would be greatly appreciated if more attention was given to the sketch comps... at least as much as the chopping comps get... it isnt fair to those who cannot chop, yet still would like to design in a comp... thank you -04monte

will someone please end the voting and post the results and get the new comp started!!!!! why has this taken over a week to do?????

when you say "venture out of the US" does that mean the car is built out of the US or not available in the US?

that reveiw... wow he uses too many eloquencies in what seems to be an attempt to speak luxuriously in order to make the car seem more luxurious... like hes saying the car is so luxurious... he can only describe it with these big fancy words... he says "canted" where "angled" would suffice... he easily couldve used "plenty" instead of "ample"... there are plenty of other examples but i already closed the window so i cant go back and look... basically he's trying way too hard to make the car seem perfect... and its very easy to see through his facade (i love how ironic what i just typed is... i said he used too many fancy words... yet i used "eloquencies" "suffice" and "facade"... but irony is funny... so ill leave it alone )

hmm... less drastic (read: less expensive) mods... performance: headers cat-back CAI appearance: ram air hood from pfyc more drastic (more expensive)... performance: eaton m112 s/c (model up from the m90 i have) appearance: custom paint job to accent the ram air hood (see the my thread in the showacse "i spiced up a monte) most drastic (most expensive): LS4 keep the m112 headers, cat-back and CAI for the LS4 if i had a ridiculous amount of money to spend and for whatever reason didnt want to buy a corvette (read: will never happen): RWD conversion LS2 Manual trans Turbo

the flugtag looks like so much fun!!!! i plan on doin it sometime in college... since you hafta be 18... otherwise id try to do it this summer... i already have a plan and evrything... as far as this scavenger hunt... when will we find out more about this?

i was looking more for a reason people do this... like... what was the original idea behind it... who decided it would be a good idea/look good... that kind of thing... however... i hafta wonder... "a type of car called a buick" thats um... what?
