  1. Funny, the Enclave has done a pretty damn good job at appealing to younger people. WHy? Because it's the first Buick in a long time that isn't styled boringly, and isn't half-assed. The new LaCrosse looks to continue this. Buick makes sense because it still has cache as being premium.
  2. Last time I checked Intel's Quads had better motherboard support...however I'd have to investigate now that's it's been several months.
  3. Dude, you are starting to troll the forums and find any excuse to turn something fun into "OMG RWD IS THE BESTEST EVAR AND FWD SUCKS SO MUCH!!1111" It gets annoying after a while, especially when it shows up in every other thread which has "FWD" in it. You don't like it, we get it, but you don't have to ruin it for everyone else. I'm sure it would piss you off if in every thread about classic cars some one started posting "OMG GAS GUZZLING PIECES OF $h! THAT WEIGH 4 TONS, CAN'T GO AROUND A CORNER, GET .0000000000002 MPGS!!1111 Just, please, turn it down a notch or 3.
  4. I tried looking for it...the forum search engine sucks ass . It's there somewhere. You should ask Satty, he has a knack for bringing old threads back from the dead.
  5. Sorry but it's just irresponsible. I hate it when the ricers do it its no different when someone in any other kind of car does it. What if a person or car pulls out unexpectedly? Takes a lot longer to stop from 70 than 30. If you wanna go as fast as possible save it for the race track...that's what it's for after all. Or at least the empty highway. Plus this isn't some desolate rural area, this is f@#king Lowell. I speed as well but not like that. I'm sure I'll get a 5 page story about why it's ok to do it but it won't change my opinion.
  6. I'm glad I'm never around when you drive.
  7. No where in your commute do you require powerslides either.
  8. I guess the moral of the story is rock > Mazda, > Oldsmobile > BMW
  9. D'oh! My brain is just not working today.
  10. F-ing awesome!
  11. Well no f@#king $h!. I mean really. You take a brand known for economy cars, replace them with much more expensive cars, then don't market them. What the hell did they think was going to happen?
  12. I'm amazed that balthazar doesn't have harsher criticism towards it and just plain shocked that Sixty8 likes it. To each their own.
  13. I still want an Aurora someday. I've always had a soft spot for them.
  14. With the exception of Audi,, the Germans are really going downhill in the styling department.
  15. Ah, well the 6 hatch is one of those cool hatches that looks like a sedan but has much more practicality. Honestly if I were looking at a Mazda6 I would just go straight for the hatch.
  16. Well yeah, the Mazda3 hatch looks different from the Mazda6 wagon...the wagon is longer and sleeker.
  17. Anyway I'm just giving the hatchback thing a hard time because the car itself isn't worth talking about...it's hideous.
  18. I said hardly, I didn't say never, I know they were made Show me 15 of them in the last 20 years.
  19. See that looks my like a hatchback.
  20. Well if you look at the rear of this monstrosity, the hatch itself looks more upright than teh Magnum's, and while this thing has a more violent and sloping roof line, the Magnum's roof slopes too. I'm not confusing the two I just find the distinction silly because so little separates them. Now a 3 door is easy to distinction because wagons hardly ever come as 3-doors. In the Golf 5-door's case it is much shorter than a normal wagon, this BMW is long like a wagon.
  21. Well, I mean, if Chrysler and Fiat are partnered up now it only makes sense to make use of Fiat's platforms instead of Nissan's.
  22. So then you could call the Magnum a hatchback or a wagon? This is silly.
  23. How are we blowing this car out of proportions? This is one of the few design critique threads we've had lately that doesn't have "OMFG IT IS THE SUXXORS AND IS UGLY AS YOUR MOM"
  24. What the hell is the Point anyway?! They gave wagons, SUVs, the X6...I mean honestly. They could be working on a new M1 but instead we're getting 20 remxes of the wagon.
  25. BMW hasn't had an understanding for lines and shapes in years. Have you looked at the 3-Series? The details get are screewed upw ith that car...panel seem don't meet with each other but instead are like 5 inches part.
