  1. What is this...radio you speak of? I hardly ever listen to it...too much of the following: 107.6 FM!! (insert stupid sound effect) That's 1077777777.6 FM!!! (insert more stupid sound effect) Repeat for 5 minutes.
  2. Eh, most of the mid 70's onward weren't my cup of tea, and were a styling devolution from the predecessors, IMO.
  3. OMFG T3H OVERHANGS!!!!!
  4. I'm disappointed though not surprised that it isn't a hardtop, but then the E-Class coupe is a hardtop with a fixed window This is indeed a bad angle but besides the b-pillar looks just like the concept...which is to say 10x better looking than Mercedes new coupe. This photo's even got the B-pillar.
  5. It's certainly possible, since it rides on an existing platform. It would also back up Bob's claim of Chrysler beoming a luxury brand again. I also recall either IL or AB mentioning that Chrysler was considering building it...just can't find the link.
  6. GM reveals production Cadillac CTS Coupe GM has revealed via it's Viability Plan the production version of the CTS Coupe. Follow the jump to see the details and access the full viability plan. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?showtopic=28289
  7. Earlier today, General Motors presented its Viability Plan to the U.S. Treasury Department, outlining how GM plans to restructure, what it needs to turn around the company and how it plans to spend our tax dollars. If you took the time to look through the 117 page document (we're guessing not many), you might have caught a few interesting peaks into GM's future, including the first photo of the production Cadillac CTS Coupe. Prior to this, we've only been able to speculate on the final form from the various spy photos we've seen and the concept unveiled last year. The document also gives a few other details, including that production will start in 2010 and that at least one powertrain combination will be the 3.6L V6 mated to a six-speed automatic. Along with the CTS Coupe, the Viability Plan provides a look at GM's medium and long term plans. According to the document, a dry, dual-clutch transmission, a new range of four-cylinder gas engines, and additional extended range vehicles such as the Opel Ampera and Cadillac Converj are in the works for 2012, while a fuel cell and third generation hybrid system are planned for 2015. More details can be found on page 22 of the GM Viability Plan. Source: Autoblog
  8. Thanks for posting this...I was planning to post it actually but I guess I got beaten to the punch. Here are the PDFs of the 300 and Grand Cherokee. Theinteriors look much improved, but I'm hoping that the exteriors are just Photochops of the current ones, which is what they look like. The 300 looks much the same, and not really an improvement, and the GC, while the front end looks threat, the rest of teh exterior looks the same as teh current one. Alsp the cheesy graphics look like they were put on using MS Paint!
  9. GM, Chrysler Unveil Viability Plan Follow the jump to read the entire article and find out all the details of what GM (and Chrysler) plan to do to survive. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...=28275&st=0
  10. In the interest of getting the thread organized, I'm going to combine YJ's initial post and smallchevy's post of the new article, since this is the thread that the Front Page will be linked to. Just so you guys know. P.S. YJ, we can't always be glued in front of the computer 24/7 sometimes we have to, you know, work (my case), and can't be here to update the millisecond the news comes out.
  11. Chrysler proved the that mainstream RWD does work, the Charger was doing well up until the the gas prices hit $$...and the new ones will be much more fuel efficent. The Genesis is also doing well apparently. That being said I have nothing against the Taurus being FWD, all it has to do is drive well...plus the proportions are pretty damn RWD looking.
  12. You and everyone else who is behind him in traffic.
  13. Looks great! I think your plans will enhance the car's look even further.
  14. Eh, guessing Audi trim levels isn't my Forte..when I as the original post/photo I knew it was German, and might have been an Audi but beyond that I dunno. Look forward to seeing it though.
  15. What, no G3 photo? I'm disappointed Satty.
  16. This looks to kick major portions of ass...I just hope there's not too many GM product placement scenes. Interesting take on Ravage.
  17. Good question. When the economy stabilizes and Ford gets some money in the budget they should focus on moving Lincoln upmarket and on its own platforms.
  18. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809943432/trailer " target="_blank">http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809943432/trailer
  19. That is f@#ked up. As far as I'm concerned if you are here illegally you have no rights.
  20. I had pizza and not burgers...but it had beef in it. Tomorrow will be burgers.
  21. You know, this car has very nice proportions...
  22. Apparently...consider yourself lucky.
  23. It's blocky, it looks like other recent Mercedes cars (like the C-Class). These are just the same things Chrysler was criticized for. It doesn't look robust it looks cheap. There's a lack of detail everywhere. Little if any stitching, the center stack is black plastic and a sea of buttons. As for the outside, it's generic out back which I guess is step up from the ugly Maybach wanna be rear ends of late? The worst offender is that fixed window...it might as well not be a hardtop.
