  1. Ford
  2. Anyway, this would be the only thing worth watching NASCAR for...then after that it would be time to switch to the far more interesting Weather Channel.
  3. Eh, if it came out looking like a truck version of the Sebring I wouldn't like it. Happily that's not the case.
  4. I'm certainly not "blind" they both look bad. If you can't see that then perhaps you are blind, if we're going to take other's opinions as fact now. Besides the saggy front and bulging lights, the worst offender for the Matrix is how the rear window looks like it came from another car. You have a sharply shaped greenhouse edge, then a rounded rear window. They should both be sharp or rounded. It's like they had another "design" team worked on the back of the car and weren't allowed to see what the rest of it looked like.
  5. I saw one f those last summer...they were funky and kinda neat. VW owners a special group of people I think. I remember I drove a VW Bus once and got all kinds of thumbs up from Jetta, Passats and so on.
  6. On thing flaw I find with that analysis is the Matrix is as ugly or uglier.
  7. And this is what GM doesn't seem get, that people won't settle for less and will shop elsewhere. Same problem for Chrysler and Ford, but Ford has learned from it's mistakes and is making some of the best vehicles on the market now. Chrysler I dunno...if teh Ram is any indication then maybe.
  8. Makes sense since these stores already sell Chinese pieces of $h!. So when it breaks a week later can I return it without the receipt for a full refund?
  9. There seems to be little doubt that Chinese cars will hit the U.S. market some soon – the big question is when. At least one automaker is suggesting that Chinese cars will enter America by way of Mexico, with production starting in 2010 and sales in the United States by 2015 after first making the rounds in Latin America and Canada. That date may have been sooner had we not hit such a nasty global economic crisis. Perhaps the most interesting part of this scenario would be the distribution chain. Instead of using franchised dealerships, Mexican-built Chinese cars could be sold at large retail chains like CostCo and Walmart. GS Motors, the Mexican distributor for China's FAW brand, is already trialing this strategy in Mexico and would likely do the same in the States, assuming the program proves successful in smaller markets.
  10. VW: German Engineered, Hitler Approved.
  11. Where did the Porsche bit come from?
  12. Well you have had that sig up for a surprisingly long time. I guess you are due for a new one.
  13. Yeah but I'm sure VW doesn't want to make it well known that their first car was delivered to Hitler.
  14. Sixty8 was one but didn't respond...bummer, I was looking forward to it.
  15. Right, and there's always the HD trucks for the more hardcore trucker.
  16. What's the point of the last part of the statement? The as tested Ram was the top model, I image in came with most everything as well. I like the Avalanche, particularly the midgate...but the Ram's better ride and more useful Ram Box (VS those little stowage slots in the Avalanche) would probably get my vote. Plus I love the way the new Ram looks inside and out.
  17. Meh, looks more European than Mopar. Nice render and model though.
  18. Man I swear, Left Lane News has one of the biggest group of idiot posters on any automotive news site.
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. Happy (belated) Birthday!
  21. This is true. The bottom line is you can't go wrong with either of these trucks. As far as Dodge goes, the only thing I wish they would address is this steering issue I've been hearing about in every review.
