  1. Solid axle
  2. Actually...this is fact...and here's why...the CRV's interior doesn't do this: or have badly misaligned panels like this:
  3. That's actually a really good idea. I wonder if Cerberus would consider it? They could build this too:
  4. RThat means you should bring your avatar back :AH-HA_wink:
  5. If it is Lambda sized, it needs to have a 6-speed transmission standard on whatever engine(s) it will have. If it has2 they should be the 3.5 and 4.0...nothing less. If they can't do that than they are already well behind the Lambdas. The interior will be the next big thing...if it can't hold a candle to the Lambda's then this crossover iwll be in trouble.
  6. The interior loosk great and so does the exterior...even in white (surprisingly). It's one of the few vehicles that doesn't scream "rental" in white. Good writeup.
  7. Isn't it great?
  8. It's actually the new Dual-mode hhybrid system...it's more complex than the Lexus hybrid system I believe.
  9. Oh ok What kind of camera do you have?
  10. You know, the Tercel, for what it was, was not a bad looking little car...especially compared to the $h!box Echo. I agree, I'd rater push a car...or more logically, walk or ride a bike (or just buy a motorcycle...they get like 75 mpg) than drive or even sit in one of those things. There's a lot of them on campus...I hate them so very much I'd rather drive a Shadow than an Echo...was your's a 2.2 or 2.5 Turbo? -- How stable are Echos on the highway?
  11. I can see the Taurus X since it has it's own sheetmetal and was a different vehicle, but not the Focus varients. The Magnum has completely unique sheetmetal from the Charger, as well as it's own name. The Focus is the same car with 2 body styles.
  12. The Magnum is a wagon, no matter what PR might liek to have you believe I think it does too. It looks less upright than some of their recent products. As for the interior, I wonder if the new interior studio got a chance to do something with it it, since the vehicle was/is still in the developmental stages when the studio was announced. Except they said, and I quote once more: The only vehicle in the Dodge lineup I might consider a crossover is the Caliber do to it's relatively high ground clearance and somewhat upright stance. Also, the Avenger isn't a pretend anything. It may not be RWD, but just because it draws styling cues from the Charger doesn't mean it did anything wrong. There's a family resemblance, like it or not...but it's not a clone. I do agree that they should have a true Neon replacement in addition to the Caliber. Ford has 4 cars right now..5 if you want to count the Crown Vic...6 if you'd like to count the Taurus X seperately: Taurus Fusion Focus Mustang Dodge has: Charger Magnum Avenger Viper (yes it's niche but it's still a car) They will be getting: Challenger Subcompact That makes it pretty even.
  13. Yeah, like you said..overly dark and grainy...much of the information is lost...plus the image itself needs to be cropped. Lucernes are pretty rare around here.
  14. I never liked the front end of the Cronos. It suffers from the `90's "blob" effect... Things don't line up or flow together...
  15. Wow, that was one of the more ignorant posts I've seen on this forum.
  16. I don't think the G8 or G6 have that same image as the Escalade...especially since they lack acres of chrome (thankfully).

My girlfriend and I were talking about ths. It's so idiotic. These people don't have the foresight to see that 1.) A day won't make a difference because they'll end up refeuling the day after or they did just prior...so the profits are made up. 2.) Even if it made an impact the oil companies would just increase teh prices to make up teh difference. 3.) Instead of boycotting fueling up your stupid Suburban that you rarely use for people hauling or towing and get a Cobalt, a Golf, or whatever. Boycotting one company is an idea though... Also, the justification of inflation and low supply is BS because in the Middle East they pay like 50 cents a gallon.
  18. I'm sure there are people who would Fine Art...it's something else.
  19. Always liked the Pentastar.
  20. It really is. and Ironic to say the last. So technically one could say the American auto industry had fuel alternatives way before everyone else!
  21. Good point, because what they need is good volume cars now...not niche cars. Sounds like a personal problem
  22. That's very interesting news...so is the exhaust still water or what? I love Mythbusters.
  23. Reality shows like that suck. I hate them.
  24. I still like teh front...it's from the B-pillar back that they need to fix.
