*chuckles* That was my thought, too . But ... I know a few people who prefer the WH version. I am not one of 'em . ...that might surprise others. As a kid, I remember feeling that interest in music was a "one genre only" type of thing because so many people I knew were either anti-rock or anti-country ... and didn't really have much of a "crossover" experience. But, in the last few years or so, more and more people tend to have an eclectic taste in music, myself included. I can't stand to leave the radio station on one station all the time; too much music is out there (old and new) that I like and want to be hearing.... This is because my musical interests have grown ten fold (or so it seems) over the last few years, with "exposure" to all types of music, more than just country (which I grew up on) or rock or alternative. This is somewhat evident in the playlists for my radio shows the past 3 years, especially the radio shows I hosted this January 2008: http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/APRIL2006RADIOSHOW.html http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/APRIL2007RADIOSHOW.html http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/JANUARY2008RADIOSHOW.html So, how about you? How eclectic is your music background and interest? Any music that you enjoy that would surprise others and/or that isn't exactly "popular"? Yeah, as I kinda figured, the pic made it look in better condition than it is. Those issues, while restorable as you noted, do seem to make it more of a parts car. I'm guessing that the rest of the car is in decent shape? If so ... he probably could make a fortune off of selling parts to people needing them.... Wow ... that one is sweet! Current TV shows of which you are a huge fan...

I still love that show. It is one of a kind, in that it is written such that adults get the adult humor from it ... yet, kids can watch it, too ... and find it funny even without the adult humor. At least, that's the way I see it.... Speaking of, I'm not sure which episode it was, but one time last year, the American version of 5th grader featured scenes from versions of 5th grader from around the world. That was pretty cool, imho. *grins* Ohhhhh...I watch that one, too!!!! It comes on Chicago's WTTW at 7:30p on Saturday nights. I usually watch the 7p show, too ... "As Time Goes By" with Judi Dench. *nods* Agreed. *nods* Agreed. This pic of my '87 MC LS was taken just this past summer: http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/mc1987/87MC1007_07_JPG.html At that point, it had been in winters since 2003-2004. I tend to agree these days. As a kid, I seem to recall a steady dose of game shows that were viewable. These days, it's all of these odd/weird/trashy talk shows that have topics like "I slept with my boyfriend's Dad and now I don't know who the father of my 2 year old daughter is". Aye. I've seen a couple episodes of Without A Trace ... and have liked them. But, for whatever reason, just never got completely interested in it enough to make sure I watch it each week..... And, KC ... I watched the first few weeks of episodes of Back To You ... but just lost interest in that one . Yikes. Sadly, that one just about looks like it has been on every one of those 2 million miles.... At least, from that angle, anyway. Forecast last night was for a TOTAL of 3-6 inches ... well, for Elgin, they missed by about 4 inches ... 10.2 was the total. I managed to get to work today, though. By drive time home, roads were clear...due, in part, to the rising temps. Man ... if your Cavalier is hating you, I can only imagine what my '87 MC LS thinks of me....he he. *pauses* Though, it couldn't hate me THAT much ... since it has started every single time this winter, even in the sub-zero temps. And, I got to work just fine this morning, despite the 10.2 inches of snow we had (though, it was forecasted only to be 3-6...heh). Anyway ... I feel your pain. Hmm....of the shows I listed before, I usually only talk about "Friday Night Lights" with others during the week ... and it is usually just about what happened the Friday night prior ... and what might happen. A few others, I wish I had others to talk with about 'em.... A few shows that I also watch that I didn't list originally are ABC's "Desperate Housewives", ABC's "Brothers and Sisters", ABC's "Boston Legal" and CBS's "Cold Case".... As for why I watch.... ABC's "Pushing Daisies": It's just quirky and works. I originally wanted to watch it because it was good to see Swoozie Kurtz back on TV, along with Chi McBride (principle on FOX's "Boston Public"). But, I watched the first 2 episodes and was hooked.... ABC's "Samantha Who?": Jean Smart. She's been on CBS' "Designing Women" and, more recently, FOX's "24". ABC's "Desperate Housewives": Cool to see Felicity Huffman (ABC's "SportsNight") and Teri Hatcher (ABC's "Lois and Clark") in different roles. As for the storylines...well, might be a "guilty pleasure"...? ABC's "Brothers and Sisters": Interesting to see Calista Flockhart (FOX's "Ally McBeal") back on TV ... and with an interesting mix of cast members, including Sally Field (remember "Smokey and the Bandit"?) and Rob Lowe. ABC's "Boston Legal": I usually only watch the ending of this one with the 2 lawyers (portrayed by James Spader and William Shatner) talking in the evening. But, it's interesting to also see Candice Bergen (CBS's "Murphy Brown"), John Larroquette (NBC's "Night Court"), and others (i.e. guests Betty White, NBC's "Golden Girls", and Michael J Fox, NBC's "Family Ties" and ABC's "Spin City") in this one. CBS's "NUMB3RS": Simply an awesome cast around an awesome show format/plotline, especially solving crimes with math! Judd Hirsch and Peter MacNicol (formerly with FOX's "Ally McBeal" and, more recently, FOX's "24" ... during which time he was on a space shuttle mission on CBS's "NUMB3RS") are in this, too. CBS's "Cold Case": I just like seeing the flashbacks...and how the crimes are eventually solved.... FOX's "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?": Shocking to find out what I remember...and, more so, what I don't. FOX's "Don't Forget The Lyrics!": The music ... plain and simple. NBC's "Friday Night Lights": Awesome cast. Love the theme music, too ... and, of course, the older cars! Hmmm...BTW...anyone else watch ABC's "Eli Stone" Thursday night after "LOST"? Looks to be an interesting show, imho. I thought I recognized a couple of the ladies in it ... Natasha Henstridge (ABC's "Commander In Chief") and Loretta Devine (FOX's "Boston Public")....
