  1. That's always fun, oblu. haha The people who live behind us always have their loud, obese family over (who all wear the exact same swimsuits everytime -- about 3-4 times a week) while yelling, allowing their children to yell, and playing the obnoxious mix of 80s music (I like some of this music, but the mix they play is consistantly the garbage of the 80s IMO). Anyway, I fell asleep around 12 last night on the couch and my parents had to fight to get me into my room. All I remember is them trying to coax me into getting my belt off and the stuff out of my pockets. Then I woke up after a great deep night's sleep and got to weeding for about 2.5 hours in the sun. This killed me as I took a short break on the couch, falling asleep for another 2 hours. I woke up with a massive headache from the heat and didn't do any more yard work because not only was I sweating profusely (ew.), but I had that terrible headache. I was supposed to go over that one girl's house today for a barbecue (for now on, let's just call her Brittany), but didn't. She said I can come over at any time, though, so I'm going to head over there in a little bit after taking a shower and readying myself a little (can't go over to a cute girl's house looking like I came out of the sewer lol). So, yeah, that's been my day. Tomorrow's supposed to have a high of 93 and today's was only 86-87. Blah.
  2. On the subject of asses, this has got to be the nicest one in its class:
  3. Nice job, gentlemen. I was shocked to get 6th lol
  4. Anyway, happy belated birthday, Nick! lol
  5. Sweet, dude. The Camaro's not an issue anymore either (so far lol), but for a different reason: it's fixed! All it needs now is a new A/C Condensor or whatever it's called and some Copper RTV for around the EGR Valve.
  6. Thanks, Josh. (PS. It's good to see ya on the board still)
  7. haha I'm not looking for sex at all anyway..But it was a pretty good first date.. I picked her up, met her mom, and we went out to go see RV at the cinema. Pretty good movie; we both laughed through it. Then we were supposed to go take a walk down some paths behind the one school, but because of the time (she had plans for later that night with her friend she hasn't seen in a long time), we decided to just take a ride. Well, I was driving past the one elementary school and decided to stop and we could just hang out over there. We ended up just talking on the swings as dusk turned to night and stayed out there for about an hour (seemed so much shorter than that) talking about random things. Then I decided I'd take her home because she wanted to be home by 10:30, so I got her home about 10 mins before that. Then she invited me over for a barbecue both today and tomorrow, so I'll probably end up seeing her both of those days, too. So, yeah, it went well. She's even better than I thought she was before actually hanging out with her.. she's funny, a really good overall person, caring, absolutely gorgeous, and yeah. I really like her.
  8. No, no. She's a good girl and not like that. I'm a good boy and not like that, too. But it went well, Auntie.

    Hey

Band is called Buckcherry. And I love that song, too!
  10. So the 5/150 stands for how long you can go with that coolant to keep the car cool, but doesn't indicate at all the corrosion-disabling chemical's life?
  11. It's the first actual "date" in a long while.. I'm hoping to make the best of it. We're going to see a movie then it'll be dark when the movie gets out, so we're going to take a walk down some pathways behind the one school (it's really nice back there) and it's a long enough walk to get to know her a lot better. I'm so excited, guys; wish me luck! (omg I feel like Nick lol )
  12. Happy Birthday, Charguh!
  13. Caddy, where are you from? I was out cruising Gratiot last night and there was a car that looked exactly like yours..
  14. I don't have a problem with GM at all. In fact, I'm still waiting until I can buy a new Camaro from them. All I want is a little retribution; my car was unlucky compared to others which had better luck. This clearly isn't a problem any car should have, be it an Aveo or an XLR. I change my own oil in auto class. There is a drain bucket where we're to drain the oil or other fluids being changed into or else we can't change our fluids. Using it, one cannot see what comes out of the car; the fluid goes straight down to the bottom. Even so, if coolant was in the oil, the damage would've already been done enough to where I'd have to pull the engine to clean everything out anyway. It's not the dealer, mine, or my auto teacher's fault the gaskets went bad so damn early. And, to end this post, I just want to add that I'm not looking for a full $1500 refund for everything we had to replace.. just a little would be nice to see that GM cares. Obviously I care about my car, or it wouldn't be 8 years old with only 55,000 miles. If I care, why wouldn't GM? It's very stereotypical of Toyota/Honda/etc. to seem to not care, but GM? Come on.

    Update...

Yeah, my tank is 13 gallons. And I can see your taillights anytime I'd like.. on my cousin's '06 GTO. lol
  16. Read my earlier post, dude.. No intake gasket should go bad at 35k miles. No motor should spin a bearing at 50k because of the earlier gasket problem/coolant leakage into oil.

    Update...

ha Ummm yeah, Northie. I'll tell you right now they look good I put about 95 miles on her today (on all the new parts) to start her off.. taking her really easy the whole time. I cruised around all night, so that's how I racked up all the miles. Plus, I only went through a little more than a quarter tank! (beat that, Northie! lol) Only problems now are the EGR Valve ticking (easy fix.. need a gasket) and the A/C Condensor or whatever went bad (ew, expensive) so it's making a whining noise (only noticeable with radio off) which goes away when the A/C is turned on.

    Update...

    The Camaro's back!
  19. Although I like both cars.. this is a no contest race for me: Corvette all the way.

    Pictures!

I found 'em. So.. yeah.. you guys win: *Note: These are from like 2 years ago. I don't like them because my face looks fat and my hair is terrible. But whatever. Laugh on.
  21. Sorry to hear about that, Satty. A couple weeks ago I was turning onto the street my school's off of.. well, there's always gravel at that intersection and because of where the person was positioned on the road I was turning onto, I had to make a sharp corner.. going a normal speed around a corner. I ended up losing grip on the gravel and smashing the Grand Prix's front corner rim.. so my dad got a new set because he didn't like that set anyway lol.
  22. Um, I'm all for this case. GM isn't backing anybody with similar problems. I blew a intake manifold gasket at only 35,000 miles.. replaced it.. and then 15,000 miles later I spun a bearing only to later find out that it's because coolant got into the oil (because of the previously blown gasket) and seized the bearing. GM said they are not responsible.
  23. This thing is going to be gorgeous. Just uncover it, already!
