1. LOT of people worldwide working from home now or out of work. Tourism, hotel and entertainment industries have been decimated. Fuel demand is way down. Exxon-Mobil reported in June that fuel consumption in ‘20 was down... 11%.
2. ^ I’d wait for an actual production vehicle review (June 2021).
3. Reading a review of the ‘21 Sierra 3.0L DuraMax, and it stated how crazy it was to start off with a full tank and have it read “600 miles” as a range. If it’s set up at all like the 6.6L DuraMax, GM has GALLONS of overage built in; my 6.6 has a 34 gal tank but aI’ve never filled it with more than 19+ gals. Actual 3.0L range might be 850 miles.
4. So generic. Yeah; the quarter does look like the VW line Ghia ripped off the early Chrysler specials.
5. Proposed 1960 Olds '55' :
6. 'cordin' to the sales brochures; '74 or '75 was correct. '76 got a slight grille change :
7. Looks like about 13 secs to 60 for the 2.3L Mustang. Commuter-grade motion.
8. Huh. Right up ol' 39 from Plainfield. Nice.
9.
But I heard that the "Iron Dukes" did not fare well over the long haul.
I've heard the opposite, that tho they weren't exciting, they had very good longevity/reliability.
10. My wife had a 90-hp Mustang in this time period. It was fine as a commuter vehicle. It wasn't fast, but it wasn't mercedes diesel slow, either.
11. Where abouts?
12. "local field workers", Wisconsin, 1915. Put 'em to work.
13. I'd say 'Jinxed it!', but it's depressingly too common as it is. 4 days later :
14. I know I read the GM lowered the price on the 3.0L TD to around $1500 (effective immediately) ... but build n price guides are currently showing it circa $2300. Was it a short-time special and I didn't catch that? Seen it from Chevy & GMC< and from numerous dealers' window stickers online.

In an inverse to a vampire, I cannot be photographed directly, only via reflections. I can be SEEN directly, just not photographed by those means.
16. 'Rubberization'? Don't know what that is; envisioning Plasti-Dip. The couple of pics I've seen of folk who wrapped their dashpad with some sort of vinyl material always looked like crap to me. Those heat-sunk lines are so characteristic, plus it has about a 1/2-in flat on the edge... I don't want to lose too much of the B-59 character.
17. Need to get new dash pad. Have large crack in mine, and only 1 outfit makes these (in Sweden). $550 shipped. You let me know, Bill, when you're ready to contribute to the Buick Fund.
18. Wallet has a 4” drain in the bottom of it. No good chrome :
19. Painted speedo hood and 2 lower dash panels that house a variety of controls. Trying to figure out a modification to a tissue dispenser to have the face hinge down / hide a trio of aftermarket gauges. Also polished up a cool ‘V’ emblem from a B-58 for the package shelf, and am exhausting a few last techniques RE trying to save the dash chrome vs. re-chroming. None of them are going to be an acceptable alternative to the real thing unfortunately.
20. My point is about the MARKETING of the ev semi, not the capacity of either. Of you want to convince the diesel O/O to switch, and a major point of contention is range, you need to talk about operating at a median range. Special permitted loads are not the mainstream truck run, by far.

22. Google is your friend : federal DOT site : https://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/freight/policy/rpt_congress/truck_sw_laws/app_b.htm No state allows a GVW of 220K lbs. No state allows a GVW of 200K lbs. No state allows a GVW of 175K lbs. Highest is MI, with 164K lbs. 14 states have a max of between 80-95K lbs. Marketing a truck capacity at 50%-250% over the allowable weight maximum makes no sense. Might as well market it at 500K lbs. Pricing aspect still a monstrous unknown. Commercial price inequalities always eclipse private disparities.
