  1. GM should offer a ‘Street Boss’ 2-in lowered package.
  2. I'm 5'8". Stood next to a 2020 2500HD on the dealer lot last night- bed sides are chin-height on me. Can only reach 50% into the depth of the bed- but I can touch the bed floor on my '04 2500HD. If I buy a new truck, even a 1500, I'm going to have to seriously look into a lowering kit. I use my bed all the time.
  3. It has something to do with the shift buttons.
  4. They share the same console section/stack, same steering wheel, same instrument cluster. The basic difference is the AT4's screen is mounted higher and the dash isn't topped by a thick layer of padded HVA/C ducting. I agree the design is better executed, but the layouts are nearly the same.
  5. Tidbit from the field; local Chevy salesman said 'like 90%' of Silverados they sell are short beds. ?
  6. ^ Honda Clarity looks, for a Maserati GranTurismo price. Great business model. ?
  7. I would definitely go with the AT4 interior. They built the Denali dash too tall / cliff-like.
  8. ^ Got in the truck to do a late-night job and the DIC flashes me 'battery not charging'. Must be the alternator. Can't really complain that the original went 196,000 miles. Will replace it & the serpentine tomm.
  9. 'They' said the same thing about BMW when it got (just about) obliterated. It took a pus sac of a car to save them but you know what; BMW doesn't market that same vehicle anymore. Amazing how manufacturers retain the authority to change their products according to changing markets, ain't it?
  10. The top skin may be the same, but the C-Pillar is definitely unique to Olds here. They used a huge kick-up in both the quarter window and the decklid, so the steel and the glass is different than Buick, Pontiac or Chevrolet.
  11. audi or lexus didn't start that trend. - - - - - These now-differentiated big GMCs look pretty impressive. Seeing the money put into this program has me really curious to see the next Escalade.
  12. Oldsmobile- perfecting ugly since 1942. (kidding). Interesting how much in common the Delta 88 has with this Riv, but how MUCH better Buick pulled the elements off :
  13. Well, that's the unassailable constant; that men (especially white) are stupid. If you 'call BS' on that, you're ignoring the consensus of 97% of scientists.
  14. I don't get it. Are there people that think ANY picture of a woman doing ANYTHING is somehow sexist? Who are these people?
  15. Yeah; probably. A BMW 1-series has an overall length of 172" and a base curb weight of 3252. A Chevy Vega has an overall length of 170", and a base curb weight of 2190. Imagine what the BMW would weigh if it had as thick of sheet metal and as little of plastics & aluminum as the Vega did. It'd be 4000 lbs.
  16. I believe mercedes is selling a vehicle with only 188HP- that's the same level as lexus here. Sad.
  17. There is literally no 2 brands more close conceptually & execution-wise than Jeep & Hummer. They fought over their grille designs being too similar, FFS.
  18. Maybe it'll also have a 'douchey poser rubbermaid' image.
  19. At $125K, Bollinger is the new Hummer H1. Minus the sales.
  20. I do sometimes use my wife’s Malibu, thats getting 32 mpg. ?
  21. ^ That bear plate is awesome! - - - - -
  22. Strictly opposed to going with the "no-brainer" idea of using 'Electra' for an EV... ... I have zero issue with using the equally 'no-brainer' name of Hummer for an EV.
