Got mine 2day- thanks. Paged thru it, only read about 2%, one mistake so far jumped out at me. Overall, it matched my expectations for volume, tho it may be heavy on the dealer stuff. hyper is going to lose it seeing the HHR on the 'duds' list. The Ford ad caught me by surprise, then I realized that the congratulatory ads all appear to have been agency-done, not respective company's agencies-done. Interesting, but fitting.

toyota's well-earned reputation for poor engineering & errant quality control never rests on it's laurels.

Giving Thanks For Car Spots
'65 Impala 2-dr hardtop, 283 car, medium blue, bench/auto, interior rough, rear quarters rough, otherwise very decent, sign claimed it ran & drove, asking $2K but no title. For me, that drops it right down to $500, as I'd be buying a car illegally (can't sell in NJ without a title). Cleaned up it'd be a good flip candidate (at $500, not at $2K).

Opportunity rises...
Things may work a bit differently in a sole proprietorship than under a big company. And paying taxes on bartered work AND paying taxes on the bartered item is double-taxation; against the law. In my cursory barter experience, it never works out to mutual satisfaction of both parties. I have a standing rule against it. Also at stake here is that the car is part of the father's estate and the barter thing might have to be split among 3 rather than go to just 1- the potential numbers-jumble there makes me dizzy.

Extra work here too (2 minutes top) : http://cgi.ebay.com/...8#ht_570wt_1124 Question: where is the line between 'hood scoop' and 'hood hole'?- Opportunity rises...
As usual, your perception of "excellent" is most curious.- Prius owner doesn't like Duramax diesel...

The D-61 is actually just what I thought of when the honduh CUV came out... the CRV. Canted lights are wacka-doo, ain't they?- Cars you like but no one else here likes;
Olds :: so far I win, right? Camino :: They mirror my internal anger.- Giving Thanks For Car Spots
- Idiotic driving mistakes you have made in the last couple of years...
- One of every year...
By default I put this under 'Chrysler', tho most of you know that rankles me. Guy bought at least 1 of every year DeSoto. I would LOVE the '61 coupe with 5900 miles on it. Gotta love disposable-income 'visionarys' like this... guy had great taste. http://www.roadkillo...nderdesoto.html Page was built in 2007- will have to poke around & see if I can find what happened to them EDIT: the '61 sold for $21K. '58 ambulance went for $36K. Anyone cares; the sale prices are here.- Cars you like but no one else here likes;
So the premise is, name cars we like but than we think no one else does. K:- Opportunity rises...
Owner e-mailed me back (we've talked a half dozen times over the years). He's offering to take monthly payments....- The Bitch, Moan and Whine thread...
Anyone notice you can't clean a single damn pot without using a half cup of dish soap now?- Opportunity rises...
Just vicariously kicking old, dry-rotted whitewalls over here... That said- I did send the seller an e-mail tonight, saying I should come over and look it over really well. Last time I saw it, it was not for sale and I didn't look at it in that way. Tho if it's still in the unlit shed it was last in, pics are not going to come out very well... tho of course I'll get a bunch. I should be able to find some time within the next 2 weeks...- Which Holden Would You Like?
If we're talking which is the most appealing to the heart, I'll 'fourth' the order above (NO yellow, tho). If are going to allow our heads to vote too, I'd say wagon, sedan, ute. I was hanging out with my buddy, leaning on his Colorado EC and thinking how ridiculous the bed was on that. The Ute is going to have a painfully small bed; I just can't operate with that kind of utility restriction (work aside).- Opportunity rises...
I would not normally consider touching a '58-60 Lincoln, their styling doesn't do it for me, and I've looked over a brace of them in person (5 in 1 location)... it's the stainless bed and coachwork that's working it's siren song on me. Storage location mentioned in the OP was secured today (1 year lease to start, but the lessee is considering purchase of the structure), smoothing the possibility a bit more.- Name That Concept!
^ Agreed. Awful, and why so many like 'em is beyond me. Whaaaa????- Name That Concept!
They are. The only way they are sometimes sortof palatable is when the bumper stays where it is, like: This integration is even better, I actually like this one... but it's a concept: Nothing comes to mind done this nice as OEM. And if it's on ANYTHING newer than about 1958, forget it.- Opportunity rises...
All grotesque, but in a bad way. I'm Jonesing for 'good grotesque'...- Opportunity rises...
These are NOT "alternatives" in the sense of substitutes...- Name That Concept!
