  1. This friggin sucks.
  2. It's not always easy to find the right screw.
  3. it's more "Exclusive" because it has lower sales Oooooooh, I get it, when low sales are good, they're 'exclusive', when they're not, they 'don't compete'. Got it!
  4. ...was undoubtedly people searching for 'pontoon fender' keywords. I know how to garnish a thread.
  5. The politicians and the system they perpetuate.
  6. Again we're asked to believe people shop for cars with a tape measure in hand.
  7. I also thought Chevy should've stuck with Cobalt...
  8. s-class is 206.5", but perhaps smk is right- mercedes has to offer 13 grand off the sticker to move small volume it does. I yearn for the day I daily drove my 213" Pontiac. That was a nice size (the 79.6" width was great, too).

Saw a google camera car (Beetle) drive thru a strip mall lot a few months ago, while I was sitting for 3.5 minutes eating a slice of tomato pie.
  10. A 'well-focused' Gov't might take all my dimes thru June 31st; what I'm advocating is a NEW government. Can you side with that?
  11. inline engines are so hoary and antiquated, perception-wise. Bizarre move.
  12. A disproportionate (and unfortunate) amount of this sort of crap went on in the '70s & '80s.
  13. Good Lord, Camino. That ain't 'rock'. Sounds like the opening melody for a forgotten '70s game show involving costumed contestants. ;) • • • I guess about the only thing I would possibly feel 'guilty' about (and I don't) is some of the girl pop singers have some pretty catchy tunes. This week I've been playing Mudvayne's L.D.50 CD with regularity. I align much more closely with primal screaming than anything else, but I like lots of different stuff.
  14. Because names like "Cruze," "Verano," "Sonic," and "Spark" are so meaningful. Wut? you know what '3' or '2' signifies but make no association from 'Sonic' or 'Spark' ?
  15. These will ONLY steal sales from other Mini models; no one is avoiding Mini because they didn't have a GoofyRoof 2dr compact vs. a ConventionalRoof 2-dr compact. And how grabbing more attention to Mini when the downmarket BMWs are coming is supposed to work, is unknown. I don't see Mini being around in 10 years, just seems like there's no where to go.
  16. Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is the harsh spotlamps of the IRS/ the Fed Gubment, greedily snatching away every dime you make until midnight on April 29th.
  17. I have a '04 Silverado CC 2500HD, wheelbase there is 153". Yours should be the 131.5" chassis. How about giving the Suburban a slight body lift and swapping the powertrain? As long as you aren't pulling major weight, well beyond what's pictured above, I would think the chassis would handle that fine.
  18. ^ Some people are under the delusion that drive wheels is the prime factor in car sales.
  19. You used 'bureaucracy' and 'effectively' in the same sentence.
  20. It's my buddy's truck. As of last winter he owned right about 40 trucks.... but he claims this one is his 'favorite'. I believe it has about 110K on it, but it's in decent shape. I'll see him tomm and ask him if he's interested in selling it.
  21. Who is nissan thinking of competing with who only started making trucks in 1960? Don't they want to shoot for the class leaders, those who have been making trucks 90-100 years ??

I stand corrected on the length of Nürburgring; I quickly glanced at the sidebar here and saw the '2002-present' course length of 3.1 miles. The Nordschleife ('83-present) is 12.9 miles.
  23. The pedigree just isn't worth that much extra over a non-ad Goat.
  24. IMO, Camino is about double what I would even consider paying... but the argument from the ad IS valid- for a brand new car to be used up & get good MPG, $6K is totally worth it on a dollar-to-miles metric.
  25. I've been driving a '91 GMC Sierra RC/SB 350 4x4 the past 3 winters, to plow. I've grown attached to it (it should be reappearing in my driveway soon). Tho it needs better than street tires for plowing, the fishtailing is entertaining. This too new for you, Roger?
