April 2006 Sales: Toyota Motor Company
well well... Maybe someone from Toyota reads C&G afterall.

What is NG
Heh... same here... You don't want to know how long I ignored CHML comments (Center High Mounted Light) because I didn't know what it referred to.

Little features you love
Features I appreciate on my Park Avenue: Passenger-side exterior mirror tilts down when in reverse Reverse parking sensor system when reversing Auto-windshield wipers Auto-headlights Memory seats As common as it is, remote keyless entry is still one of the greatest convenience features ever. Rear seat adjustable air-vents Cup holders in the rear center armrest OnStar HUD (damn it GM... put it in more vehicles!) Built-in coin holder & tissue holder in center armrest Heated seats Lighted visor mirrors Rearview mirror compass Radio/HVAC controls on steering wheel Individual controls for passenger temperature load-leveling suspension Cornering lights at night Turn signals built into side mirrors Seatbelts built into front seats Programmable door locks Soothing color of Sea-foam Green for controls and instrumentation They are all simple things that make a significant difference when you need them, and are invisible (for the most part) when you don't. That's the way I prefer all my car's features to be. It's not always about what it can do. It's about how it's accomplished/executed.

300 vs Lucerne vs Montego
Speeds vary from test to test... but 8.8sec is similar to the LeSabre & base Park Avenue's 0-60 time with the 205hp Series II 3800. I didn't expect it to be any different in the Lucerne. They all three weigh about the same.

ACURA KILLS RSX COUPE
DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! It's amazing how very few remember Acura has been down this path before... twice... 2 generations and it's still a forgettable vehicle... Even as a 260hp Type-S.

Edmunds: Long-term Cobalt update
Excellent results for a car with three people riding and a trunk full of luggage. Bravo Chevrolet!

Portland Tribune reviews Lucerne
I couldn't have said it better myself.

NG Malibu
Everything I remember pointed to the NG Malibu to be in EpsII. Malibu would be the first on EPSII, then LaCrosse, then Aura. There wasn't a confirmation of a "next G6" at the time. And yes, the Chrysler cloud cars are still on the same platform now as they were in 1995.

Mitsubishi and the next 25 years
Heh... bye-bye.

Aura Doesn't Measure Up to "Expectations"
I actually prefer the Aura in the pic comparison... but wait for the Redline to receive the Opel's aggressive exterior treatment.

Jerry Flint slams the G6 'vert
I'm starting to like the G6 GTP coupe w/ two-tone leather interior and 3.6l V6 w/6-sp automatic. That's going to be an attractive car inside and out (and yes, I said inside. The new chrome touches and two-tone interior make it look much better.) I know it's of the convertible, but still... It doesn't look bad.

Avalon shows dent in Toyota quality
- ACURA KILLS RSX COUPE
Kind of makes you wonder if they'll just put the TSX 4-cyl in the TL (thus lowering the price) and drop the TSX also. Acura needs more than to just drop its less-than-near-luxury vehicles to move upscale. They also need class-leading luxury cars too. FWD sports sedans & V6 powered flagships don't cut it against BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, or even Cadillac now.- 2007 Cobalt changes
The thumbnail doesn't work, but click on the thumbnail and the full picture should show up.- 2007 Cobalt changes
The Next Gen Malibu is around the corner... no need to waste any more money on this one.- G6 convertible trunk
I thought Eos' 2.0T only had 200hp? The G6 convertible has 217hp. I don't think there's anything to stop GM from giving the convertible the 3.6l & 6-sp auto as an option.- TCC: 2006.5 Kia Optima Review
Gotta love those dead buttons completely integrated stereo. But they were completely forgivable 4 years ago (before it was remodeled.) Now they aren't. But only because Honda doesn't have it anymore.- TCC: 2006.5 Kia Optima Review
Yeah... the point is not everyone uses 6-speed autos. GM is not last in everything, yet several members here treat GM as if it is. It's as if the entire market consists of Toyota or Honda. If they have it, and GM doesn't, then GM is last... when usually it just means GM is on par with the other dozen or so manufacturers that sell here in the US. Watching members be unrealistically critical of GM and then forgive the same shortcomings for another manufacturer is kind of annoying.- AN opnion on the FJ Cruiser
Interesting... I've yet to see one on the road up here. Only on dealer lots. I do see tons of H3s though.- TCC: 2006.5 Kia Optima Review
Yo sciguy and Dodgefan... only to be outdone by the worst of all... Chrysler's own 300 with a 190hp V6 and 4-speed automatic...- 2007 Buick Allure Changes
I can personally think of far worse offenders -- TCC: 2006.5 Kia Optima Review
Why do so many people find it even remotely acceptable for Kia to sell a sedan with a 185hp V6 in 2007? TCC didn't even quote acceleration speeds. And where's Hyundai/Kia's 6-sp automatic? They were one of the first to jump on the 5-sp auto craze... now they're a gear behind. I just couldn't conceive recommending this vehicle over a similarly priced 2006 Ford Fusion. No comparison at all when it receives the 3.5l.- Jerry Flint slams the G6 'vert
Yeah, It's pretty sad that he couldn't verify his facts before writing the article. You'd think the fact that he was actually looking at a production G6 convertible on the floor at the Autoshow (and not a concept on a stand) would have tipped him off.- Sky, Solstice and Corvette: S.O.S.
So which post by heintz did you think he was referring to the 2000 Nomad? The question was directed to him afterall... and he only made one post. If you weren't confused... then why bring it up at all? No one else did. Heintz... Croc... - ACURA KILLS RSX COUPE
