  1. My bad guys. Chaulk it up to learning the ins and outs of the new board. All should be OK now.
  2. It's a good practice to use it when you park on a hill, so as not to put so much stress on whatever component in the tranny keeps the wheels from turning while in park, as well as to protect your car, and those around it, in the event that the park gear should fail. Anyway, congrats, BV. I'm happy for you.
  3. Yeah, I agree with the general sentiment that (to me) there's something "off" about the heavier Christian rock. I prefer the slower, more introspective worship songs, which contrast with my taste in secular music, ironically....yeah, I'm weird. But, the Christian heavy rock does have its place. It fits right in with those Christian youth groups that skateboard and participate in extreme sports and such. Basically, it provides a hook for young, lost, and very impressionable people to get into Christianity rather than drugs, violence, suicide, gangs, etc. My church has a very active youth ministry that has taken quite a few teenagers whose lives were a mess and totally turned their lives around, and this music is a big part of it.
  4. Do a Google search for '9-3' and watch what comes up. What will they think of next?
  5. Awesome avatar, OldsGuy. Classic VH rules!
  6. NWA, Delta, US Airways, and United are all at or near bankruptcy. Some of it has to do with the cost of jet fuel, which has doubled since last year. But, like Fly alluded to, most of the older carriers have never adjusted to deregulation. PanAm and TWA used to be the two most glamorous airlines in the skies...now one is defunct and one is reborn as a low cost regional flyer of puddle jumpers. And what's worse is that the gov't has no intentions of getting involved, so if Northwest goes under, people looking to fly to places where only NWA flies are screwed. Sad times indeed.
  7. I wouldn't bother. It really looks like it was beat on. Tht car was probably in an accident and had to have the bumper repainted....to my knowledge Camaros never had the peeling paint syndrome. Plus, 132K on a car that lived a hard life is only going to nickel and dime you to death. Unless you want it as a project car and intend to restore and keep it, stay away from it....spend a couple of K more and get a better specimen.
  8. So I guess since the original blackviper doesn't exist anymore, that the Fiero Fund no longer exists and people should stop donating to it, right?
  9. And also of note, they took out the B-pillar on the passenger's side. :P
  10. This bike reminds me a lot of the Triumph Rocket, also a very sweet looking bike:

    I'm sorry, but no.
  12. Don't worry about it just yet. We haven't yet had the DNS info transferred to the new host. I would just use the direct addresses until cheersandgears.com actually points to this site again.
  13. Looks like they introuced some contrast to the interior. It looks a whole lot better in there.
  14. Here's a list of all the sigs that I have, just in case anyone lost theirs: Camino: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/5179/caminowaiting1kt.jpg Chief: http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/4608/chiefv216ir.jpg ocnblu: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/6382/ocnblusig32km.jpg Paulie: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/4900/paulie19770fq.jpg trinacriabob: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/746/trinacriabob0wz.jpg
  15. Last night was a real treat on the way to the gym: Yellow C6 convertible and an SSR. Plus a guy set off his alarm trying to get into his C5 convertible. Also saw a new Sonata in the parking lot this morning...not bad looking on the outside. The inside looks laid out well and fits nicely but the plastics on the dash scream cheap from a mile away.
