Nice way to kill off Pontiac. Do they want to be taken seriously or not?

For 95% of drivers, the IS350 will drive fine. The steering may not be as tight as a BMW, which probably has the best steering, but I have no complaints about it.

I like it a lot. The front looks like an evolution of Hondas from the early '90's. From the A-pillar back, it looks influenced by BMW.

As for the styling, it looks good in profile, but the details look bad. It needs to be cleaned up a lot. Mechanicals seem impressive.

Exterior styling: Yech. This is not a car to buy because of the styling. The interior requires no apologies in my view. It doesn't have the junky feel of the Camry. The IS350 already has such great performance that the IS-F will appeal to a pretty limited group.

It also has some sort of panoramic moonroof.

Available 300 hp V6 with direct injection. I can see myself driving one of these.

The interior does have sort of an Infiniti look. I'd like to see a profile shot to get a better feel of the proportions. If I have any criticism of the exterior, the face is kind of big and will take some getting used to. The wheel arches are very muscular.

I was worried about the rear, but I don't think there's a bad angle on this car. So far, very good.

If the quality of the interior plastics is as good as it looks, this would make for a huge upgrade in the interior. And real wood too.

The bed loses almost 8 inches from the last model and is now about 2 inches shorter than the Silverado's.

Better looking: vs. The rear of the new car is ok, but the front looks weak, especially the lower bumper area. Removal of the side molding just makes it look cheap on the side.
