Probably it's not fair for me to say this, since I only started driving a few years ago, but drivers these days are just plain idiots. Haven't people learned that you should PLAN YOUR DAMN TRIP before you even get in your car in their driving lessons? Sooner or later, humans will just be born with no brain, standard. True to a certain extent, but there ARE buyers who want a manual in a 4-door, with me being one of them.That's where Chevrolet and Pontiac can play together. One have it and the other don't. And that's what GM is doing now. Only the G6 gets a manual version, in limited numbers.
