  1. Well... they probably wanted to emphasize it's designed to work in dirty and rugged conditions...
  2. But they're among the safest cars out there so far. If you think about it, the Malibu is like what Volvo used to be... I'm ugly, but I'm safe.
  3. If I can order Opel parts for it, then I'll probably think it over. Otherwise, Solstice for me, please.
  4. Let's see... after RTFM we have... RTFT (last T stands for TITLE).
  5. Just checked the wheelbase of the European Vectra: 111.4 in. So 112 is the standard wheelbase for Epsilon and the Malibu sedan is the stubby?
  6. And don't forget the tree hugging side of Hummer... Now THAT's some lowering of CAFE numbers.
  7. I've been doing that for the past academic term. Cavy was pretty much parked on the driveway and doing nothing, other than occasional grocery runs. Found an old beater bike left by the previous tenants. Speaking of beater bike, mine IS a beater, because: 1. The rear brakes are pretty much dead, now running on WD40 brake fluid 2. The transmission misses shifts and needs constant refills of WD40 transmission fluid 3. The "engine" misfires 4. I snapped the shift knob off by accident, and now it's stuck in third gear I'm looking at a major restoration project this term...
  8. Okay.... so the 4-speed still isn't dead yet...
  9. I guess we saw this coming...
  10. T H O S E P A D D L E S N E E D T O B E I N M Y C A R A N D C A L L E D T A P S H I F T ! ! ! Enough said. And is it just me or GM's bad photograhy, the ride height on the front looks wierd.
  11. Sorry... the front isn't really working for me... I smell a Relay...

The shadows look strange, and the proportions of the front and rear doors look strange. Screams Adobe to me.
  13. Wow... they "fixed" it...
  14. Dawn
  15. Wow... really sorry to hear that...
  16. No. Cobalt -> Lordstown HHR -> Ramos

I damn hope they don't come up with a model called Cadillac CRX... The next moment you'll see a Cadillac del Sol.
  18. I see a blend of Insignia and Antara. Nice.

Doesn't work for me. As I was in a boy's school back in high school.
  20. But I thought this strategy didn't work, at least for the G6. People were complaining on how a 4-cylinder version wasn't available at start.
  21. These things have been around for quite a while. Last time on Top Gear they got a whole bunch of these and played ice hockey with them. And on a side note, we have a Swift+ already. It's also known as the Aveo.
  22. As I said the other day, I saw one at a parking lot. I freaked out because I thought they started importing Coronas (car, not the beer).
  23. Yeah, the inspiration is from the E-Type. But, car designers are really out of ideas these days... I meant the steering only.
  24. solder
  25. I know. I actually mean since the concept Aura looks so similar to the production Vectra, there's a good chance that look will come back.
