    2006 BMW X5

This is exactly why my BF is now salivating over this SUV!
  2. the clock is weird looking, funny - I missed it during my first glance but once you pointed it out it stuck out like a sore thumb!
  3. Congrats!!!! I'm also expecting my first and I know how exciting it is, beautiful name by the way
  4. I like Dr. Z!! Any idea how long he'll be gone?
  5. It's definitely sad to see what happened to him I used to watch the Crocodile Hunter and he and his family were too cute, it's a shame he was lost but he'll always have made a contribution in having raised awareness and compassion towards animals
  6. I'd take the car, trade it in for what I really want.....a small sports coupe/convertible type of car doesn't suit my needs right now It does suck that a rich celebrity gets tons of free swag when a real family has to carefully consider a big purchase like a car
  7. That's awesome that it got resolved, the Yukon Denali is one of the SUVs I really like although it's probably outside of my price range (trying to stay under $45k!). I'm glad to hear that you got such great service after such a poor initial showing, that gives me more confidence in the brand. Enjoy it! Black Yukon Denali's are sweet
  8. I like the Yukon Denali, that's a nice ride.....I want it to look nice but again, my main interests are safety and reliability.........he just wants something bad ass!!!! And in reply to an earlier question, no I haven't seen any camo'd cars but thanks to the diplomats and rich folk, I do see some exotics from time to time

    New MINI

totally agree! i love the car but it's not practical enough for me and a new family
  10. thanks!!! this thread is giving me lots of ideas
  11. Mario, Answer to your questions: 1) season 15 2) season 12 am i right?
  12. Yikes! I've heard about this before but that was one huge belly! The other case I heard about was odd in that the undeveloped twin had partially calcified and that's when the person began noticing health problems. Seriously, it never ceases to amaze me what the twists the human body can endure and support!
  13. Hey DetroitNut90, I'm in NoVA, right near the Pentagon actually. What about you? And thanks everyone..........for the welcomes and the recommendations. I'm not confined to just import or domestic but we're trying to stay within the $30-45k range which gives us a wide range. Basically, for me the essentials are safety the more airbags the better, comfort and ease of use. My other half wants as much power and kick as possible and toys galore like the DVD navigation and rear entertainment. SUVs and such that I do like so far: Acura RDX, Nissan Murano, Infiniti FX, BMW X3/X5, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander, Ford Expedition, GMC Yukon
  14. hey mustang, thanks! DC is a great city but it was definitely tough dealing with it after 9/11. I travel down I-395 regularly and it was difficult to see the Pentagon with all the sheeting covering the damaged areas. Things are much better now! Security is still a huge issue here but the very cool thing about DC, albeit to a lesser extent than places like Miami and LA, is that you get to see some very cool and exotic cars from time to time.
  15. I like the Escape hybrid but the boy likes the X3 and X5 I do like Touareg's but I've heard rumblings about maintenance issues
  16. aww thanks everyone! CD/BP - currently our two cars are a tsx and a TC, we're keeping the TSX (my car!) and looking to add something larger than it but not overally large, basically big enough to haul a kid, stroller, etc and still have room....and maybe a puppy I was thinking of model end time just to save $$$ but realistically time line stretches out until February to give us enough time before the baby arrives
  17. totally agree, that was the first thing that popped to my mind when i saw that photo
  18. i guess to an extent but I always felt that by that time Nautica had already trickled down so to speak.....kind of like hilfiger
  19. actually there is an aston martin dealer near me, HBL in Tysons. I wish I could have something like that! I did get a ride in a Maserati Cambiocorsa coupe....for some reason it was in the weird really deep burgundy color, not my favorite but the car was sweet!!!!! The guy later got into an accident, pretty minor with a dent to the passenger car but the car was at the shop for over 3 months and pretty much got repainted down the right side and cleared all over. In regards to my SUV hunt, timeline ideally would be for the 06 clearance/07 model intro time to try to score a deal
  20. I've seen a few of those.....my only question is why? Is it so you can match your outdated shirt and jeans to your whip?
