Yellowy orange is OK, then... I just think the colorful stuff on the top and bottom distract from the film in the middle. I don't know where to look. Hhow about the yellowy orange with more white in it?

How about a dark grey or black one?
  3. OK, I'm biased, but if you're only driving 4K/yr, how about an '01-'03 525i or 530i? There are tons out there for <$20K.

Both suck, IMO... too juvenile. The colors don't work with the photography.
  5. The XE cloth genuinely blows. And the plastic steering wheel is very unfriendly... the leather option is a must, IMO.
  6. They'd have to do a lot more than that... in terms of passenger and cargo hauling, the current Lambdas trail minivan classleaders by a lot. I find it interesting how GM once targeted the lower-end of the people-mover segment ($17,999.99 Uplanders), and now they're aiming for Sienna Limiteds, Odyssey Tourings, MDXs, and so on. Maybe they're moving up too quickly and leaving behind people who buy Grand Caravans and Sienna CEs. A minivan for the Chevy brand will fill this gap nicely.
  7. Cars in China are more expensive.
  8. I hate GM photography. If there weren't other pics of the Astra, I would ignored it.
  9. Camoed Honda Accord... bigger exhausts, fatter tires, different front and rear, and fatter fender flares, I think. Also a camoed IS-F.

Saw one today, with the same wheels and black paint... only less camo.
  11. Most reviews haven't been too favorable... "The [Edge's] new 3.5-liter V-6 is thrashy under full throttle, falling short of the power and refinement standards of Nissan's VQ35 or GM's DOHC 3.6." - M/T, 12/06 "At the track, the MKZ's extra 42 ponies didn't make it any faster than the Zephyr. Quarter-mile and 0-to-60 times wre identical to those of a front-wheel-drive Zephyr we tested in April 2006. The MKZ has 267 more pounds to carry... but its 14.5-pounds-per-horsepower power-to-weight ratio is still better than the Zephyr's 16.0 pounds per horsepower." - C&D, 1/07
  12. But it's not like they have to create the technology from scratch. Ford had it since their 2002 Exploder.
  13. Practically every car has curtain airbags these days. I can't see why adding rollover sensors would take six years.
  14. Do you hate them as much as this guy does...? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJv6800eflo
  15. Toyota would have bought it.
  16. I like it! A Solstice SportCombi.
  17. Once again, BECAUSE it is a 3D MODEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't exist!
  18. I'd go for GTI first, lame duck MINI Cooper S second, and Cobalt SS SC third.
  19. BTW, I was pleasantly surprised by the Five-Hundred. With black leather upholstery, it wasn't all that bad, and there was tons of space and a nice airy feeling. It doesn't pretend to be stylish like the AURA; it's just a good, proper family sedan that seems solidly assembled. I found its interior less depressing than the AURA's.
  20. If it's made by BMW, people will buy it.
  21. Maybe on paper, but at least the CRV seems well-assembled.

But there is a sweaty fat man who tries to be Jeremy Clarkson in his videos... http://www.canadiandriver.com/video/07saturn_aura_wmv.htm
  23. I didn't find it very appealing. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with it, but certain small details annoyed me. It's just so unbelievably ho-hum. I'd buy a Fusion SEL I4 5M over an AURA XE.
