What if OC were a straight female posting pics of guys she'd "like to have naked"? OMG I'M SO OFFENDED.
  2. Wow, this is wonderful! This car makes sense in the US lineup because it is actually luxurious and large enough next to the CTS. Maybe make all the new bits in Shanghai for everyday low prices!
  3. Good news! Edit: Damn, nevermind. This is for reliability, not road test.
  4. Something that gets at least 30 MPG city.
  5. Honda, Toyota, Opel, BMW, Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Mazda do... The Astra's 1.8T VVT Ecotec could probably fit in the Cobalt. It makes 140 bhp, which is only 5 less than the big 2.2.
  6. Looks great. I know some people like to sand their calipers smooth, get it polished, and then clearcoat 'em.
  7. GM should offer an economy version of the Cobalt. A 1.8 VVT might produce similar power and offer better economy.

This is the first 7-seat crossover that doesn't look motherly. BMW did a good job with the styling.

Heh, I took home a "NO ELECTIONEERING WITHIN 1000 FT OF POLLS" poster.
  10. pow replied to Satty's topic in The Lounge
I worked at the polling station but didn't vote (still 17). Marked off names, gave out stickers, and recited directions. Oh well, worth the $105 and extra credit.
  11. It looks great in grey!
  12. Cool. I never got hydrogen fuel cells to begin with, since it's essentially liquid electricity.
  13. '07 Fusion AWDs have $1,000 cash, too. Why don't they price them properly to begin with?

They're cool like that. The last family sedan review, they went on about speedometer needles and hash marks.
  15. I think being realistic is looking at Caddy's future direction and GM's willingness and ability to invest in the brand. There's no new product coming soon, apart from CTS No. 2 and a refreshed STS. The CTS and Escalade attract conquest buyers, but the STS, SRX, XLR, and DTS aren't up to the task. I think we all agree that Cadillac has changed significantly but still have a long way to go.

Surprisingly, the GTI gets better mileage than the Rabbit. 25/32 v. 22/30 Maybe direct injection and less displacement has something to do with it.
  17. Fifth Gear reviews it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGF5SRSqUFQ
  18. The CX-9 is to Ford like the XL-7 is to Chevy.
  19. BTW, I'm finally appreciative of OnStar Turn-by-Turn. Saturn wants $2950 (comes with better stereo) for navigation! No thanks.
  20. It's about $1500 more than a comparably equipped Pilot, and the option groups are less bizarre than the Acadia. Power driver seat is standard, not part of some $2500 package. Fully specced, however, the GMC might be cheaper after haggling. Let's hope residuals are high, or no ones going to spend $35K+ on a Saturn.
  21. They screwed up the pricing big time. I priced my own, and to get leather, I had to spring for the $35,960 SLT. Friggin' power seats and one-touch windows are part of a $2,145 package and cannot be ordered a la carte. Moonroof costs $1,300. At that price, I think most would spring for the MDX or save $6K and get a Pilot EX-L 4WD (standard leather, power seats, one-touch windows, moonroof). GMC should seriously consider offering leather on SLE models and make power seats and one-touch windows standard. Even the Freestyle has that.

    There's something you could try.
  23. Funny. When Kohl's opened their first store here, they were giving away X5s and 3ers.
  24. Now it's time for 0-60 vids!
