Vectra out, Insignia in!
That's fine. As said, I just like how people are testifying to how its these specific things based on third-hand accounts of the actual car.

Uglier than the Aztek?
That, and its factual.

Vectra out, Insignia in!
I like how the two biggest Vectra complainers have never, ever, ever even seen one...

Consumer Reports FJ Cruiser report
Blind spots? No $h!? Thank God Consumer Reports is here to make me desperately aware of things I'm already aware of. Time to renew my subscription! Honestly, I'm a bit surprised they didn't find some 30 year-old FJ being used by the People's Army of the Congo and used it to qualify recommending it "based on reliability of the previous model."

How to buy American
Ever compare the ride, handling, power, quality, or price of the last generation of Camry and current Corolla to - well - anything else in its class? Explain then why they remain perennial top-sellers despite the existance of newer and better models from the competition. My point is, there's no one answer.

The next big thing
Quote for the ages: Any worse than someone doing that to a new DTS? Or a Grand Marquis? Well, nevermind the GM - its a waste anyway.I just have two comments that regardless of our personal like/dislike... 1) Would you rather see these cars scrapped as junk, wasted in a demolition derby, or kept quasi-alive as a rolling rustbucket spewing out toxic fumes or modified and at least appreciated by some, fostering a culture of admiration for Detroit iron, a culture that translates succesively into newer and less obscene models? 2) At least they're driving domestic.

Chrysler Confident in Minivans, Market
I think we'd all be a little more impressed with Chrysler's confidence if 80% of their production weren't sitting at airports - half at the Dollar counter and half in a field because no one wants to buy them.

Uglier than the Aztek?
There's a reason why that title hasn't been changed...

Preview: Mercedes-Benz Concept Ocean Drive
I usually really like turbine wheels but these...are a bit much. Also, not a big fan of the color. But that doesn't overtake the fact that this car is wicked awesome

Little known N-body Skylark facts: *The car arrives before you do. *If you run into a wall with a '92, your car becomes a '96.

Wish I had an extra $2000 I don't need...
I'm thinking about what would make a good second...er...third car. Plus, it would be unique. Plus, these cars are realistic. No one likes anything automotive from the 80s and 90s, many are just coming out of the hands of grandpa and are dirt cheap, fairly modern componants (fuel injection, good brakes, etc). Also, I have an affinity for late-80s Toronados for sentimental reasons and the fact that the ones right before aren't as cool. Lastly, need I remind that many cars from the 70s were just as unexciting. In any case, at least I'm not gaga over a Millenia.

I found a vehicle uglier than any other!
Make this, Hyundai.

Spied: 5-Series facelift
What a crappy looking shifter.

Wish I had an extra $2000 I don't need...
Note my qualifier, "I don't need." I'd still sort of on the look out for an low-mileage E-body ('86-92) Toronado for under $5k. There was one on eBay I linked to months ago that I really could've swung, but...oh well. Granted, there are plenty of -'85 Toros out there for my price, but no thanks.

1992 Skylark Cowcatcher nose and all, 'tis a good deal.

Oldsmobile 88 Reliability????
I think the only issue from that Series I generation of 3800 is the manifold head gasket.

Canada gets old Jetta for 2007
GM's automatics are the best in the world. With a transmission that performs so perfectly, so smoothly, so responsively, the numerical advantages of a standard gearbox evaporate.
