Buick Wants to Bring in the Black Guys
I'm waiting for all the racial allegations that ignore the fact that this is a factual statement. In any case, this adds more evidence to my case that Steve Shannon steals my ideas...

Platform ideas
The problem comes when two divisions need the same type of car. Who do you want to give a fullsize sedan to - Buick or Chevy? Think about it. Do you really want the restriction of choosing just one?

Pontiac Lives!
If that's the case, sounds like what has been tossed around for the past while, that Pontiac would cover the low-end entry-level in price and size while Buick takes midsize and above within the B-P-GMC setup. I, for one, would still love to see a sophisticated performance coupe and sedan, a replacement for the Grand Prix sedan and the GTO, I guess think 5er.

One cannot simply expect things to be laid out exactly as it stands in plain English. Read between the lines, add your own common sense, and enjoy.

No way in hell it looks close to that.

Edmunds Evaluation: 2006 Pontiac G6 Convertible
The biggest advantage to this car is that it can seat four real-sized people. No. The Solara looks like $h!. Key difference.

Solstice the worst?
Taking a two-seat roadster out and bitching about where to put your Tracfone shows you have no idea what these kind of cars are about.

Lucerne Beats Avalon-Consumer Reports
Their road test reviews are crap. They test wildly-misequipped cars against each other and devote paragraphs to subjective items. This also changes nothing with the school of thought that the Avalon is still a joke.

Speaking of the Grand Marquis, go sit in a recent one. Puke. I love the vinyl screened GRAND MARQUIS block lettering on the faux wood. Ugh.- Pricing: 2007 Nissan Altima
My problem with CVTs is not the reliability but the poor shift feel. As exhibited by my recent Murano rental, it feels funny, buzzes funny, and gets lousy fuel economy for such an 'efficient' drivetrain. I'd rather have a traditional automatic, thank you.- More STis on the Way? (Not just Imprezas...)
I saw one pic of it in WRX guise. It looks ghastly.- TCC Test: 2007 BMW X5 4.8i
