Toyota's most influential/revolutionary?
In all honestly, if Chevy made it and it looked like that and underwhelmed in the MPG department like that and dealers were charging $$$$ over MSRP like that, I'd still call it what I do. Truth is, in the scope of simple rote fuel savings, there are far better choices than the Prius, even within Toyota itself.

LOL! Cheney shot his friend!!
You guys and the typical dolts in the media have it all wrong. He thought he was shooting Quayle...they were Quayle hunting...

Toyota's most influential/revolutionary?
I do. I want to spend more up front for a doorstop-looking shopping-cart-handling hatchback so I can claim I earn back the money with my fuel savings. Makes me better than you and everyone you know.

Top speed...
110 in the Olds 129 in the SSEi Or...you know...so I've heard. I must say, GM did a fantastic job engineering the G-cars because you don't feel like you're travelling at those speeds at are. I remember doing 90 in a Corolla rental and 88 in an Elantra rental. Never. Ever. Again.

Ford: GM didn’t win ’05 sales crown -- we did
Ford should spend its time worrying about important things, like finding more words that begin with 'F' or putting chrome on stuff.

Sunday Fun Stuff - An Icon
No vehicle can ever best the Suburban. Ford tried and I'm sure others will in the future but its not about making a big truck bigger, its about making it better. Good luck to all who attempt it.

"Tetanus Shot"
That poseur HUMMER looks like something you'd find in one of those TEST DRIVE games from 1995 because it looks flat and $h!ty.

If you were coerced...
We talking production or in the past, because I'm having a hard time.

Lots of leftover '05 Lacrosses
Pardon my ignorance, but what is missing from these cars due to an absent Gold level package?

"Tetanus Shot"
That's a pretty crappy snorkel. Most snorkels run well above the hood.

Is this the new Mercedes Benz E-Class?
Yeah, for some reason I thought Mercedes RL. I think it was the RL at some point. I have no idea with Benz anymore

Column vs. Floor Shifter
I could honestly care less. The overall car is far more important.

Hey, Europe, Russia, China...
Heh...actually, that's just me and my typo. Its actually the F-35 as its been approved for production and so forth.

Thank you!
Hey...you're welcome. I've been busy on and off for awhile now, but recently I've been able to get acclimated enough to my schedule to pay alot more attention to the little details of the site. Expect nice little touches and 'upgrades' like that throughout on my and other Mods' parts. And thank you for noticing.

Lots of leftover '05 Lacrosses
Last year's leftovers sitting on lots doesn't instantly make the car not worthwhile. Perhaps too many were made and were passed over for the next model year's. GM sales charts showed Auroras, Eldorados, and Rivieras being sold almost a year after the last ones were shipped out and I'm sure the repeat is happening with Park Aves, Regals, and whatever else is dead now. Doesn't make them less worthwhile...

GM sales chief says automaker needs all brands
300C and Charger for two. There are others on the large-midsize end of the spectrum that would qualify as well. The Bonneville GXP was a great car at the wrong time and suffered for coming along at the end of the model run. The Maurauder was a tuned-up Crown Vic LX Sport with a trio of extra gauges and lackluster performance. Saying those two cars didn't sell well and using Toyota as a qualifier for the viability of a market isn't an accurate portrayal.

Hey, Europe, Russia, China...
...and look as good doing it? F-35 STOVL/VTOL takeoff & landing cycle Probably not. That's our new Joint Strike Fighter, Lockheed's XF-35. Here's a shorter 11-second takeoff clip. The thrust vectoring technology is nothing short of amazing and well beyond the still-impressive AV-8 Harrier.
-
Are we ever going to get a G6 GXP?
Um...considering the advances GM has made in reigning in torque steer, I don't see a problem. Anything from a s/c 3800 to a GP GXP is very composed even under heavy acceleration. Acura and Nissan could learn a thing or three

Is this the new Mercedes Benz E-Class?
Mostly the rear d-pillar

Mercedes-Benz G-Class Grand Edition
You mean its affordable, unique, and won't break every three days?

....
You shouldn't have to 'get used to' an aspect of a car you're utilizing every single time you get behind the wheel. Its not a rental; you're owning this thing.

Toyota's most influential/revolutionary?
Toyota made hybrids somewhat managable without the level of compromise the Insight required.

Chicago: 2007 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart
The Taiwanese car has a very ES-knockoff look the the stack, but it looks very, very nice. Such would go over well in that car here.
