Merry X-mas Sixty-8
Mr. Burns' Mobileomobile and Martin's deadpan insult... "May I recommend an Oldsmobile...?" *silence* :P

If You Were In the Market...
New? Used? Both? 'Cause there isn't a coupe today I'd want/afford.

Beauty
Meh. The '90s SLs don't do much for me, likely because I've seen so many and the design isn't as much of a standout as other SLs. Even if it were, it's been around basically for, what, 14 years? Snooze.

Merry X-mas Sixty-8
If you watched last week's Simpsons, you would've gotten the reference. Anyway, I'm sure its a fine car, but $1,000,000+? Man...

Question
And yet sometimes we can be proactive and reduce the size of an image to accomodate our small-screen, low-res, or dial-up members. Very few pics need to be that large and irritating.

That's awesome, Ven!

Nissan URGE at NAIAS
Do they even think about these names before they use them? We actually use the English language in this part of the world and don't view it as a cutesy way of naming things like Nissan is used to in Japan...

New Mercedes C-Class
Das Hyundai. Like None Other.

Chrysler Imperial
Let's hope it has an interior worth the nameplate. But I have a sad feeling its going to be more of a Chrysler Imperial than an Imperial...

Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
Brother, you make me laugh. Seriously. You rock. We do need to take it back a notch, though. Siegen, et al do make valid points. Civic really just isn't your cup o' tea. No biggie; isn't mine either. I like my cars free of Down Syndrome. But its okay.

GM Versus the Media
We go after the site and other people's opinions now. Cool.

In the mail....
In other words, you're saying insurance companies are irrational, illogical, and basically really stupid but lucky con artists? What's new?

Sexy Butts
Yeah, whatever that is, it sucks. Trunk cylinder and plate lamps look like three cheap bolts and the taillamps have a kitcar look to them. Blech. Give me the Centurion... Or the Toronado XSR with two-tier brakelamps...

Corvette
The predominant purpose of nameplate-specific subforums was to coalesce fast-paced discussion in a busy forum into one hot topic. The only one right now is the Camaro Forum. Since there has been almost constant news for a long time about the Camaro, we thought those looking for that info could find it easily if it were collected in one forum. Likewise, someone wanting the latest on the Malibu or Impala doesn't want to be bothered by twelve threads about engine specs on a Camaro. Ditto with Chevy Tahoe. You may also remember seperate Cobalt, HHr, and Corvette forums in the past. This was because those were yet-to-be-debuted models at the time and had lots of news going their way. Right now, Corvette news hasn't been so much, so Corvette has kinda been relegated into the general forum. I'll see what the rest of 'em think in the mod forum.

Chevrolet of Tomorrow
You mean aren't, right? One boxy sedan is enough, thank you.

Ward's 10 Best Engines for 2006
If they hold up for that long...and the insides still suck... They can call what they want a Hemi. Its as meaningless as the 300C. And, yes, 97RegalGS, somewhere Moparman is spouting that exact phrase.

2006 Car & Truck Finalists Announced
Yup. Anyway, Solstice and Ridgeline are my predictions. My personal choice would be Solstice and nothing. 2006 is clearly not a banner year for truck innovation.

Heated Windshield Washer Fluid
Yeah, Toyota cheaps out on some of the little things domestic buyers usually take for granted, such as the aforementioned floormats and roadside assstance.
