Nickelback is like your mother's generic tampon's or father's generic fungal creme. It's not as good as the real stuff and the only reason people like it is because they are manipulated to. Personally, I'd go with a Clarion reciever, Alpine speakers, Alpine subs, and Alpine amp... but I'm biased.

Well, get an amp with rms power in the mid to upper range of the sub's rms power, but do not get one with more power than the subwoofer. That's really all you need to know as far getting an amp goes. However, also consider what all it will be powering. Just the sub(s) or all speakers and the sub(s). Powering everything will give you a more balanced sound while powering just the sub(s) will give you a sound with booming bass, basically. The latter is easier, and cheaper, to do and you'll still have a good sounding system compared to one without an amp and sub as well as your stock system. One last thing... Kenwood? You crazy.

That's sad. I'm sorry to hear that Mute. I most definitely know what youre talking about, however. There are more than a few stuck up members around here with poles stuck up their asses than in the past. They are annoying, and are not helping C&G a bit. I wish they'd leave. Not that I'm looking, but an MX3 in perfect condition is cheaper than a Prelude. And I dont even care for the earlier Preludes. I like the 5th gens much better.

Considering even with a 4cyl the CRX is faster... Which are also more expensive... But I dig MX3s and their styling. Very cool little things.
