  1. It was softer than what's in my Cobalt.
  2. Yesterday was a muscle car day. A few Chevelles, a few Mopars, a Camaro, a Mustang, a Nova, a C3 Vette, etc. Also in the mix was an early 50s Ford and a 52 Mercury, in all its chopped-top-look glory. I stopped by the Hyundai dealer and they had one of their two Genesis coupes sitting out, a 2.0T in a lovely shade of blue. I talked to a salesman for bit while he opened it up for me. Not that it's in my interest, he told me of their lease offers and they are quite attractive, monthly payment wise. I think he said $225 per month. I didn't ask about the details, though. I'm sure the terms aren't as nice, but hell, that's only $90 more per month than the loan I've got out for my Cobalt. If only I weren't stuck with it... I'd love a Genesis coupe. Another sight:
  3. I'd avoid rebuilt vehicles.
  4. Recently, I've had a guy inquire about my front fender. He's all the way over in Washington state. Talks of shipping have been going on and I'm not entirely sure how to do this for a reasonable price. The length, width, and height are very close to putting it over UPS/FedEx's limit for a large package, which adds a $45 upcharge to an already high price due to distance. I'm not entirely sure I can find a box that will be under the said limit and still be able to fit the fender. Weight-wise, it's just under 10 lbs. Is there any way I can ship this without getting him raped on fees and not likely to go through with the purchase?
  5. Queen - Killer Queen.
  6. I biked. 25 miles. I'm tired.
  7. Eunos Cosmo, by Mazda.
  8. You want to bet on that? You guys and your excuses for everything. It's pathetic. Yes, Z, my grandma felt like having a Cobalt that could conquer the Appalachians. Are you f@#king kidding me?

I think half of you guys need Ritalin.

  12. When you look at more than one vehicle, or brand of vehicle for that matter, You'll see the differences in realism between Nada and KBB. Not to mention that every dealer I've seen assess a value to a used car trade in, they pulled out a Nada guide.

Remind me to outline the intended structure of all my future threads. You guys are FAIL.

Commencing with randomness wasn't the point.. it was the location two seemingly unrelated press photos were shot.

Hah, that went over your head.

    Look at these two images.
  18. That's what I mean. My Jetta retailed at $6500 on KBB and $5000 on Nada. My Cobalt retails at $8400 on KBB and $9100 on Nada. On a side note, I'm not sure how, but I checked the retail value of the Cobalt before I bought it and it was atleast a grand higher. What the hell?
  19. GM is doomed. I stopped caring about them long ago... and for good reason.
  20. Lily Allen - f@#k You Very Much.
  21. Cutbacks? That would be assuming I spent much money on my car in the first place. Besides repairs and maintenance, zilch has been spent on the Cobalt thus far. Besides a set a floormats and some little things, the same goes for the Jetta as well. You can't really cutback on that sort of stuff without harming your car.
  22. Yes, there was a 959 in there. Indeed. There are many more Japanese cars I'd rather see in there than that one, but I suppose it's there because of its performance.
  23. There are very few cars that are worth paying more than retail for. With that said, I would trust whatever NADA says more than KBB. The latter has questionable figures, that will either play to your advantage or go the opposite way. The former seems to have more real-world figures.
