1. If you've got a virus letting that spyware in, no anti-spyware software is going to do any good. I also vote for an anti-virus download.
2. Atleast it downshifts.
3. She can sing, yes.
4. True, though its still alot of money. I'm cheap.
5. I dont like you anymore.
6. Thank you, Sirs.
7. That's not necessarily guaranteed. Anything from GM lately has not had decent resale value at all, regardless of how good the vehicle was, or what sort of fan base it had.
8. Displacement isn't the key here, it's turbocharged. For a base engine, it's not a standout, true, but it's fairly adequate at 210 hp. Styling is subjective.
9. I can't seem to find a set for a reasonable price. And shipping for wheels is outrageous.
10. Touche'. I can't speak for others. I will add, however, that the Genesis 3.8 starts at $25k, the 2.0T at $22k. The 'loaded up' price is not the one to quote.
11. I tried the look with the Jetta once. I wasn't terribly fond. I need alloys.

Rust

The Sunfire is starting to rust around the openings... fuel door, door sills, etc.
13. Shush. 2650 miles update: -Fuel economy seems to average around 30 mpg and the actual fuel economy generally isn't far off from the readout. -The wheel covers annoy me. They rattle over every bump and there's no way to possible tighten them anymore than they are. -The steering has a knock it in when you turn the wheel back and forth while stopped, right around the center position. -A vibration has been coming and going. When it occurs, it will be from around 40 to 60 mph with the steering straight. Brakes magnify it, steering in either direction will dissipate it. Feels like it's on the left side. I imagine the tire is possibly out of balance. -There's an odd electronic glitch. Sometimes, when you start the car, the radio will not power on by itself, or manually for that matter. It will power on randomly, seemingly when it feels like it. Other than those, there's not much else to report.
14. If magazine quotes were facts, this thread would have ended with the first post, technically. There's a whole bunch of "facts" listed right there. I have not quoted any magazine and do not plan on doing so. I state my own personal judgment and question the statements made without substance. I never said it was a popular segment, either. I simply said it was virtually reviving it, the success of which, is yet to be determined. Again, with the assumptions and negative attitude. You know everything, Reg. It's okay, we know that you know everything. There's no need to show it in every post of yours. Every once in a while, perhaps you could pretend that you don't. You still would, of course, but it'd be like you didn't. Wouldn't that be amazing? Think of all those people you could fool with a neutral attitude! I understand, though... When you know it all, why hide it?
15. >>"Genesis is 96% the size of the Camaro, and 92% of it's weight."<< Are you saying you had no point in stating that?
16. I've decided... I'm giving myself two options once the Cobalt is paid for. Revert back to an MK3, or go all out and get myself into a Genesis coupe. Doing so is going to be really tight, money wise, but it actually seems feasible. Either optoin is not including the aforementioned project car.
17. Next up is installing a receiver to replace the Cobalt's $h!ty stock one. Just purchased the kit I need via eBay.
18. To be honest, who cares? It wasn't exactly a great vehicle. I'd rather mourn over many others that will be no more.
19. Say it with me: Assumptions. A Cobalt is 94% the size of the Malibu and 88% of it's weight. Oh noes!!!!1!1!!
20. I think I reached 1k back in '04.
21. It wasn't nearly as affordable, costing over $10k more than what the Genesis bases at. As such, it's going to have limited appeal at that price. It would have been great to have a full line of Monaros imported over with the GTO given more unique styling above to rest to appease those who couldn't appreciate the design. Could have made a great line of Grand Prixs in the lower trims with that one SEMA concept representing the actual GTO. Unfortunately, all these 'what if's' and imagining what could have saved the brand doesn't change anything.
