  1. Amen. This is where i think the DTS should have gone. I understand there wasnt the investment capital for this but Caddy, take notes and exceed the mark.
  2. I just dont find it attractive. The only thing that looks right is the back.
  3. AMEN!!! The UAW really needs to wake up.
  4. Chevy real won the design sweepstakes. While the Caddy may be shinier and the GMC is "proffesional grade" the Chevys just look better. Once the six speeds are available across the board, it would make so much sense to get a Chevy Tahoe/Suburban vs any of the others. Its cheaper looks better and has a vast majority of the features people want.
  5. Actually I hope they cap production at some number. Maybe not 20K but something small. You want to have just enough to satisfy demand. Not have too many sitting around on lots waiting for a "Red Tag" of somekind.
  6. My favorite part was the "Ultimate Power" tag describing the supercharged 7.0.
  7. Dangerous straights the company is now in. (Sorry channeling my inner Yoda!) This could be bad and good at the same time. Hopefully when its all said and done it works out well for the company and the country.
  8. I need to see it. I wish i could go to the show to see whatever they put up there first hand.
  9. So it may not be too much of a head turner in looks. Big deal! RWD, V8 for the average consumer? ILL TAKE ONE!
  10. I will be looking forward to seeing what Chevy has come up with. I dont think a stretched Kappa platform is going to work. But then again, GM doesnt pump out a lot of cars from the Solstice/Sky plant so there is a lot of unused capacity there. The Camaro would need a sister car I think just to get numbers up. What that would be, who knows. Well unless they replace the Grand prix with a rear drive four door sedan to complement the GTO.
  11. I have to see it and its specs to figure out how this is going to be cheaper and better.
  12. More good news. I have thought for a while its only a matter of time. Being as big as GM is there is a lot of restructuring that has to be done to make it profitable again. I dont think there will be a large stoppage in production if there is one at all. I also think the closer it gets to a last minute scenario the more the UAW will be willing to negotiate.
  13. I dont think it makes sense to put camo on these anymore. WE know what it will look like. Basically the Suburban will look like a stretched Tahoe with full square rear doors and a longer wheelbase. Im sure someone with enough photoshop talent can show us one today.
  14. I think we can all agree, the interior is very well done, the details are top notch. Now the exterior, is clean, classy, and understated. Its everything the YUKON DENALI should be. It just comes up short somehow on the outside. It was mentioned earlier that the exterior of the previous gen Escalade has a presence about it. If you have ever had one tailgate you it really makes you want to get out the way. This one seriously lacks that I think. Its nice but its just not the Escalade (Cadillac) we are accustomed to.
  15. Well with the release of the official pictures I can say i am officially DISAPPOINTED. Where is the aggressive look of the past Escalade. It really does look like a Tahoe with a different front end. Thats something a body shop can do for you. Granted the interior and some specs are better but it still looks like a tahoe. I dont see anything that really makes it stand out.
  16. Once again, a solid car that could have a few more details added to make it great. Navi is coming and that is a good thing, the transmission upgrade is coming as well. NO review I have read has faulted the overall impression of the car, its just the details that need to improve.
  17. Well its a lot cleaner looking. It seems to lack the big beefy panache of the current Escalade. I think they should have kept the clean side styling for the Yukons and kept some of the body cladding that made the Escalade unique. Without it, it looks way too much like a Yukon with a grille treatment.

    CADILLAC STS-V

Its a nice car but the wheels could be better or maybe not wheels that match the paint.
  19. I think the canyon/colorado are nice trucks but they really need something stronger in the powertrain department. the 4.8 V8 would be a strong addition especially if they could add DOD to it. Then I can see more going for it.
  20. I am not going to get my hopes up. I have to see it to believe. Pontiac does need a real performer though. So this will be a trim level on an existing car. Thats my bet.
  21. I was starting to worry, but this is really good news. I wonder what the show car is going to be. ANy Ideas?
  22. I dont know about just rebadging it. It would make it a funny looking Buick when compared to the rest. They would have to do more overall styling to it. The G6 is nice but Pontiac needs a car to draw in the masses. A real four seat convertible is an excellent idea. I do agree though that the price needs to be kept in check.
  23. That would be highly disappointing if it was canceled. GM needed something for the masses to aspire to and that would have been a great asset to Pontiac. Lets all keep our fingers crossed on this one.
