  1. Whatever he was smoking hadn't fully kicked in, give it until two PM. And I say this in playful jest, not to start a C and G esque 9 page flame war. Tell me weed is legal in Washington (state) without telling me weed is legal in Washington (state). If they made a Citroen 2CV Electric model it would be the cats ass compared to this Mazda. According to some. Or to be like our great leader..."They tell me the 2CV Electric is as good as the 2040 Mazda CX 5...."
  2. That's like saying herpes is better than getting laid, actually. Depends on the CVT, if it is the E-CVT of Toyota, apparently its quite reliable. I thought this vehicle came with a CVT, very glad it has a traditional transmission. We will see what I do for the next vehicle, a small AWD SUV might be the berries. I like this better than a RAV 4, but resale is night and day better on the RAV 4. and I like Subaru's AWD system better. Ford is canceling, the Escape, which is a dated and unlikeable product. Nissan would be a no go for me for CVT reasons, as would Honda. Were I to go Subaru, I might buy a hybrid to get the E-CVT. That would be a huge plus for me. I would prefer the hybrid anyways.
  3. What my next quest is, maybe. Unsure, but thinking.
  4. Things not doing great for Stellantis... Plenty of the rest of the world seems to have lost its mind. Actually, the worst thing though is that people in America are clueless about how they are hurting themselves and everyone else.
  5. I miss old land barges.
  6. Right now the whole world seems intent on destroying itself. Badass Pontiac. Love the paint job on this.
  7. This car is badass! Speaking of Fairlane...
  8. Unusual and cool GM car, headed for the crusher.
  9. Headed to Acadia in September myself. Agree completely. In terms of seeing a bunch of midsize GM suv's I regularly see them at recyclers with low mileage and auto repair shops.
  10. Our dependence on cars is killing us. Cars like this would be fantastic for walkable cities. The other end of the spectrum.
  11. Actually most of those people have plenty of discretionary income anyways.
  12. We descend into stupidity.
  13. Economy is not doing well Grooving on the idea of a small SUV that would get me to some interesting hiking and camping spots.
  14. One more thing political but car related, every time I have been to Canada I have seen a lot of American cars. I wonder how the Canadian auto market will change with the current political environment? This is kind of the direction I would like to go.
  15. America is a declining and dying empire, and it shows for the most part in the cars we build. I like some of what Cadillac is doing, and I like the current midsize trucks the Silverado EV, and the Maverick. Pretty much everything else can meet the fate of these two Malibus, over American cars, have been for awhile. On the positive side...
  16. Excellent I wonder how the changes in oil supply will affect the auto market in the USA
  17. Yep, and not going to change. I live near the largest auto auction house in Ohio, see a bunch going in on car carriers. Dealers must be wholesaling them out and off the lot.
  18. Things not good for the US auto industry with tariffs.
  19. I am not bothered by it. The cockroaches in the corner by the booth I am in, pee all over the bathroom floor, and bland food usually are a turn off. I like small independent restaurants, but trying them is like playing the lottery. The short answer is yes, I can answer that in one word. "YES" Having been to Japan twice, I agree.
  20. They keep me sane. I agree, great people.
  21. Can't believe she tried this in a Jeep Compass.
  22. While I absolutely love the Maverick, this is one reason why I am leaning Subaru for the next vehicle purchase. I just don't think domestics have the quality control or engineering the Asians have. A political video, but pay attention to the Boeing Part. The easiest way for countries to strike back at the US is to buy Airbus rather than Boeing. The only thing keeping Boeing in the game right now seems to be the huge backlog that Airbus has for planes. Wonder how in the automotive sense a decline in US manufacturing, which seems inevitable, will affect the auto industry. Can't be good. On a brighter note...
